Reviews
Write a ReviewHired C & E to repair my Kitchen-Aid Frig. Reviews were mostly positive so I felt good with the decision to hire. I think, to put it in a nutshell, that they were in over their heads. Over a period of nearly two weeks they made sever attempts to repair but actually made the situation worse with each visit. Total cost to me was approx. $460 and my Frig was worse off than when they started. The next service provider was successful in repairing and mentioned that C & E had taken several wrong turns in their attempts to repair. My advice , and the advice I wished I had received, would be to make sure you a factory authorized service company to work on larger appliances. Very frustrated with the experience I had.
My Name is Moses Cabrera , I am the Owner of C&E Appliance Service . I Normally don't write comments about customer Reviews about their experience with my Company . But on this one I do have to to say this is not Correct , My Reviews speak Volumes for my Company and Customers that I have Service in the past , This Customer had Several Issue with there unit and after Replacing an Evaporator Fan motor in there freezer housing that was bad which we did Fix and Repaired that Issue at time of first service , Which this Customer is not Mentioning is the Fridge shut down due to a Power Surcharge after we fix the issue due to Bad Thunderstorms that Hit there Fridge causing the Compressor to have a Restriction and it would not cool down any more until the issue was repaired .And we went out to there home one more time free of charge to see whats going on with the unit , And that's when I noticed the unit had a 5 year seal system from Whirlpool factory , I proceed to tell this customer it will be more feasible to get this fix thru factory for free instead of us Charging for Extra cost for repairs for the Compressor Issue, which we CAN Fix . to all my customers out there if you going to Write a Review be Honest about it . Because all we trying to do is to Provide Great Service for all you .
On time very professional will for sure use this company again if I need a small appliance repaired
We had standing water in our Dish Washer. C & E came out and fixed the issue quickly for a reasonable price. Within the 30 day warranty period we had a leak under the sink that may have been related to the initial work. I called up C & E and they were very eager to come back out and take a look. He was able to determine a stopper had come out causing the leak, this was then fixed free of charge. The tech was very friendly and knowledgeable about the issue.
I had this company repair both my garbage disposal and dish washer. The repairman fixed both in just a few minutes as both were minor repairs. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was he was 2 hours later than the owner had promised. I called on Wed and requested an appointment 1st thing in the morning so I would not have to miss work. Owner assured me that he would have the repairman there at his first appointment on Fri and he would arrive before 9:00. It was 11 before he arrived because he had been to other appointments. Repairman's info showed he was scheduled to be at my house between 8 and 12 . Repairman was great...... owner not so much.
Very quick and helpful, offered a tip on how to fix the dryer feet for $1 or so so we didn't have to pay $50 for him to do that as well ( he was there to fix the lint trap )
Quality work! Onliline appointments A
Very friendly and took the time to explain the issues with dryer.
Called back within 15 minutes. (After 6 pm.) Came next within 30 minutes of requested time. Had the part and repair done within one hour. Ke more washer.
The first repairman supposedly fixed the problem but in only a few short weeks the refrigerator was not working properly again. When I called to have them come back out since the work was covered under warranty they informed me that the technician that originally had done the work was let go and that they had been receiving a lot of phone calls with people saying that their stuff hadn't been fixed correctly. They should have been proactive and automatically notified their customers that they might have further problems and offer to come and check the work that had been completed. They did ultimately fix my refrigerator. The washing machine was leaking so I had them look at that too. They kept replacing parts in the hopes that each part would be the actual part that was defective rather than knowing what was the issue. They broke my hot and cold water faucets. Then told me that I would have to contact a plumber to have the faucets fixed before they could finish fixing the washer. I had to call a plumber...which cost me money. I had to call a different appliance repair company to actually fix the washer....which cost me even more money. I can't say that I would call them again or trust them to fix my appliances after this experience.
Timely response, efficient repair visit.
