OT expressed worry about putting in a tub and also was able to find one with a wider door which would allow a scoot-in or slideboard transfer into the area. It would help her spasticity to soak, and there is a built in seat, bars, and hand-held shower. The shower area is 59” long and 32” wide. i. Tub (or one like it): Mb Tubs Slide in Tub 52" x 32" x 41" Drain Wheelchair Accessible (1800wheelchair.com) ii. 2 grab bars on walls where needed. b. Bathroom door- It is only 28” with a true opening of 25.5”. Add inexpensive offset hinges to the door to gain 2” of needed clearance.
