Reviews
Write a ReviewChad Parker and Bradley Vaughan were excellent technicians who worked to meet my satisfaction of work performed. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and their work was outstanding. If I need any future gutter work I certainly will look to have Aqua Guard to be the company to fix or replace my gutters. Highly recommend Aqua Guard company for all your home needs. What an outstanding company they stand by their warranty offered by work performed.
I have never in my entire life had to write a review like the one I am about to write right now. To begin with we had a concrete slab laid at the beginning of Aug. and all we needed was for it to be leveled. We reached out to Aquaguard and Bill set up a date and time to come out and do an evaluation and a quote. Bill stated that they could level the concrete slab with no problems and gave us a quote of an est. 6k. I know that no one in their right mind would pay 6k for a job that was guaranteed by one of their SHAREHOLDERS (Bill) knowing that there was no guarantee it could be done (which is what their stating now.) We had a deadline to have this job completed which couldn’t be met because it is now Oct. and still ongoing. Jerrod and another employee came out on 2 separate occasions and all we have received from this service is UNLEVELED concrete and EXCESSIVE CRACKS AND WAVES. Weeks later 2 managers came out and could clearly see my disappointment because I was literally in TEARS. They said that some jobs they can’t get leveled completely and that they don’t know why Bill would tell us they could and that that’s stated in their contract. He said he would reach out to the general manager to come to a resolution because at this point my concrete slab is just horrific and still not LEVELED by the least. Literally worst than when they started the work. Week later no resolution. I suffer with congested heart failure which I was diagnosed with last Nov.2024 and this is really beginning to take a toll on me. All I want is a DECENT resolution because this is clearly not the service I was expecting to receive and is clearly unacceptable.
They were quick to respond. The first time working with them. Aquaguard quickly identified the problem and I can fix it myself.
Had a sidewalk that had settles approx 3.5”. AquaGuard put it back in place. Chris Risley was our Repair Tech - he was really focused on customer service, reviewed the scope, kept us updated, let us inspect prior to demob, great experience! I highly recommend
We initially went with a “cheaper” service and it was just that, cheap! AquaGuard came in and turned the encapsulation around into a working sealed crawl space. Shawn Haley was the rep who came out and explained our needs & quoted the job; he worked to get us the best price possible, and we were truly grateful for that. Kurt, Joseph, & Matt did the actual encapsulation and were here on time, very respectful, and explained the process, completing the job. The whole process with AquaGuard was great & we’ve already recommended them to others! We would say, go to the experts first and let them do the job!
June of 2014, I signed a contract with Aqua Guard Foundations Solution to have my basement encapsulated. I did not have water in the crawl space but I did have water coming in through the basement door. I was informed that encapsulation was the way to solve the problem. Thousands of dollars later in little over 6 months along with a very heavy rain, my basement flooded in areas where water has never entered. The company principals of honesty and customer care fell short. Fast forward to now, (10 year span) I continued to invest with this company to resolve my basement issues, through ongoing flooding, three pumps, humidifier upgrades, and much more. There is mold currently throughout the basement due to multiple floods, Including recent Hurricane Helene. I am extremely dissatisfied with their policy of honesty and customer care. There has been minimal follow-up. I want my basement to be mold and water free without another expense to me. “Buyer Beware!!!”

It was our first time hiring a professional for water damage in our basement. We had no idea what caused it. We had a very bad experience with some of our previous contractors so we asked a lot of questions. The inspector Jose explained everything clearly and took time to patiently answered all of them. The crew who did actual work, Calvin, Jamahl, and Clayton, were very professional and polite. Their work was fast and efficient. They informed us at every step so we know what is going on. They did all the waterproofing in just two days. It cost a lot but we’re glad we hired Aquaguard. It’s great to have an assurance that we don’t have to worry about any water damage in the basement in the future under their lifetime warranty!
Raymond and Brian did well
From start to finish - top notch! Will arrived timely and completed a thorough inspection, even inspecting an area (crawl space) that I wasn’t contemplating, but desperately needed some work as well. Quotes (yes, 3 of them) were provided to delineate the differing areas and work - along with related warranties. We received a quote from a competitor, and AquaGuard was the best value, most comprehensive, and best warranty. Scheduling went seamlessly with Justin (though they didn’t update my phone and kept calling my husband). The crew, lead by Marquise, communicated their arrival about 30 mins out, arriving timely. He professionally introduced his team, Joseph and Stephon for the crawl space on Day 1 and Alex for the basement on Day 2 - and they set to work. They laid covering over the carpet to protect it from this Georgia red clay. Working productively, with care and thoughtfulness to achieve a job well done. Once they finished up the work, Marquise walked me through the full effort and provided photos of the results within the crawl space, and explained the maintenance needs clearly, then we finalized payment. Highly recommend AquaGuard for your waterproofing and stabilization needs. Professional, courteous, timely, thorough, and competitively priced. Thanks AquaGuard for my dry basement and secure foundation in my addition!
After spending nearly $30,000 for a full crawlspace encapsulation, dehumidification system, and new sump pumps, we encountered a significant amount of water on top of the encapsulation system. On re-inspection, we were told that our drainage system now needed to be addressed resulting for an additional $6,000. I am extremely skeptical of spending more money with this organization after having so much water come through a reportedly waterproof system. Our installation experience was also not without its problems, we were scheduled for three days of work, and the crew worked half days each day resulting in a lot of disruption to our house. The installation was also not performed to plan - for example, a sump pump drain was placed only inches away from the foundation. Overall, I am very disappointed in the service. While the inspectors have all been extremely nice, we have yet to have a reason for why so much water would find its way into our crawlspace through a very expensive system designed to deal with these problems.
Once alerted to this issue, our crew went back out to complete necessary repairs. We then flood tested all pumps, extended the discharge, re-taped seams and cleaned the encapsulation. Customer was pleased with the work.
