ARAC Roof It Forward installed Shingles on rooted compromised sheathing. Per the contract they were to replace rot or compromised sheathing AS NEEDED. John Smith put that in the contract to win my business because he was aware of the condition of my roof and sheathing and how old it was. I showed him a bid and he wanted to beat it by offering the rotted or compromised sheathing as needed. They failed to cut the openings in the sheathing for the ventilation for the ridge vents. They did not cut out one whole side and very minimal on the other side. The sheathing was so bad it was falling apart when they tried to cut it. They were aware of the sheathing, but they failed to replace it throughout my roof. They used ABC Synthetic Underlayment instead of Owens Corning Rhino Underlayment per the contract. They failed to install the gutter apron per the contract. They failed to use Hip and Ridge shingles per the contract on the ridge vents. They cut shingles and covered up a row of vents with the shingles. It failed inspection by the city,.It looks horrific. They didn't install the riser boot correctly per the City. The Soffit and Fascia install was not finished and the aluminum had so many cuts and ripples with bad nailing. It looks like patch work. The bends are horrific at best. They refuse to correct the issues and hired their own engineer to pass the inspection they couldn't pass with the city. The roofers leg went through my ceiling and it still has not been repaired. They workers drank alcoholic drinks, Heineken, in the job sit. They left nails, wood, aluminum pieces all throughout my yard. They broke the spigot on the rear of my house with their ladder. They ghosted me for numerous weeks. Their workmanship is the worst I've seen in 58 years of my life. They do not care about the contract, customer service and do not care about workmanship. Not one person came to oversee the job or look at its entirety. They are unprofessional and demeaning. They said the owner said, "if it passes inspection it is what it is,too bad". I will have NO warranty because of the installation failures per Owens Corning. Beware of this Company. Took me for almost 11,000.00
