I could not be happier with the products and service I received. The sales person, Don, was very thorough and walked me thru my options. I got all new windows as well as vinyl siding. The siding installer did an outstanding job and was very detailed. I would use 1st Choice again for sure!

Over the last six months we had two complete bathroom tub to shower conversions. We couldn't be more satisfied. The work quality is great. Everyone is courteous and really listened to our ideas. We are planning another bathroom renovation in early 2019 and First Choice Home Improvement will be OUR choice.

1st Choice was great until I had a few broken windows come off the truck. After they returned with the new windows they had ordered the wrong window. This happened twice. So I had to take off work multiple times to be home for when they showed up just to tell me I would have to wait another 3 weeks for another window. Overall it took about 5 months for the project to finally be finished. I had a great experience with all of the workers. It was the management team that did not seem to want to give me their time. After all of the headaches they treated me to a gift card.

We chose this company because they assured us that they could complete the job with professionals, painting and minor stucco repair, and because I wanted the product that they were using to paint the house, Tex Cote. The salesman seemed like a good person, he was attentive and responsive, until the job started, then he became difficult to contact and did not answer texts or calls in any sort of a timely manner. We were given an estimate of time in which the job would be completed, 7 to 10 days. In fairness, the weather forecast was a bit rainy in the area, none at the house, and the job took over 3 weeks. It was an interesting process, the salesman told us they would send out a crew to power wash the house, a crew to fix the cracks in the stucco and then the painters. Because of the way the job was sold to us with professionals for each step of the process we paid a premium price, what we got were painters with a power washer and no ability to repair stucco cracks. They tried three different times to repair a couple cracks on one end of the house, each time they told me it was repaired it looked as bad as the time before. When I finally demanded that it be repaired properly the company finally did what they suggested they would do in the beginning, they sent a stucco man to do the repairs. He spent one day doing repairs, said he was done and then had to come back to complete his job properly, the company said it was because he ran out of materials, more likely is that they told him to do as little as possible and see if they could get by with it, same as the painters doing the repairs. Part of the problem is that there is no competent oversight on the job site, we were told that it would be inspected regularly for quality (the salesman said he would be by daily to check on the work) we so nobody for the first 10 days. Another piece influencing the length of the project was that the painters came from Pensacola to Niceville everyday, typically they came in two vehicles and started between 1000am and 1200pm and finished before 300pm. There were a couple days where one of the crew stayed a bit later, but that was generally because he arrived later than the rest of the group. When the painters decided the project was complete we were supposed to do a walk around with a company representative to make sure things were complete, nobody came to take a look, I caught most of the errors/missed areas, but missed a few. Since they told me that if there was anything that was missed they would come right over and take care of it I gave them their check that day. We found several issues when we had time to do a thorough inspection, we notified the company in July of what was missed and also of what the painters damaged while they were here. Finally, today one of the painters showed up to do some touch up, there were also supposed to be company representatives here to check the work and go over some of the damages, damaged lawn where they poured paint/

We've already taken steps to improve our Tex-Cote services by bringing in two manufacturer representatives to train our sales and production teams. We are committed to the Tex-Cote product and the lifetime of benefits it provides to our customers. After consulting with our owner and production manager, I would like to address a few of your concerns specifically. Our VP, Scott, visited your home on at least three occasions to provide oversight on the progression of your project. In addition, your representative, Brian, made several spot checks on your home once the project began. Once a concern was raised over pre-treatment of your walls, we agreed to dispatch a stucco crew and redo an entire wall of your home once a crack was discovered post-application of the coating. Unfortunately, weather delays are a part of the process that we have no control over. Tex-Cote is a product that needs to be applied in dry conditions with low humidity. Although it may not have been raining at your home, humid conditions in the area this time of year do cause unfortunate delays. In the end, we hope that you are satisfied with the Tex-Cote product you selected. By reducing wall temperatures and lowering cooling costs, you can enjoy the benefits for Tex-Cote for as long as you own your home. We needed to have about 10 large windows replaced in a short time frame and they assured us that they would do it, and they did! They sent 2 very hard working capable men to perform the work. One issue was that there was a cracked window among the new ones, and a little surprised that they didn't check on that beforehand. Anyway, they did get a replacement after about 4 or 5 weeks and they worked with our schedule to get the replacement installed at our location. We will hire them again for additional projects.

I hire them for vinyl siding of the eaves and other wood of my sonÂ’s home. They did a good job and finished the job in a timely manner. Only problem was the edge of the door was dented and the person I was dealing with was rude about having to repair it. After spending thousands of dollars I felt he was out of line. In the end the company made it right.
