"Very thorough - took about four hours on the actual inspection of a 1200 ft lake house and detached garage in Diamond City, AR. Very detailed documentation arrived within 24 hours . He identified issues I would not have noticed and was very precise in answering my questions. We would definitely use his service again."

"David was great! He's coming back to do more repairs. Over the years, I have found that cleaning up the workspace each day is the sign of a true professional who cares about the job. Ours was a messy kitchen leak that required replacement of old plumbing, an area of the wall, and a small section of the floor. He left it so clean that my husband noticed. We love his work, his professionalism, his attitude and demeanor. Wish there were more than 5 stars in the rating!!! Oh, and his pricing is very reasonable. HIRE HARRISON! What a nice guy."

"This guy can do just about anything and he's a veteran. ++ He did paint, stucco and wood repairs on my building. Rebuilt my whole deck to code. He did my flooring and replaced all of my fixtures. Lights, fans and windows blinds. He was totally dependable, fair and a life saver. You cannot find good help these days. He was a Godsend and a breath of fresh air."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
