"My furnace quit the Friday before New Years Day. Marvin Wooten was suggested by Home Advisor and accepted my request to repair my furnace. He arrived in a timely manner and did a temporary fix to get me heat as this was one of the coldest days of the year. I forgot to mention the furnace is 36 years old. He tracked down the required part and returned to install it, There was a problem with the new part not being completely compatible with the old furnace. He worked most of the day Friday, but could not get the new part to work. We went back to the temporary fix and Marvin said he would return the next day. He did some research that evening and when he returned Saturday, he got the new part to work and I now have a furnace that is running like new, considering it is 36 years old. Marvin was friendly, professional and followed through on what he said he would do. I whole heartedly recommend Marvin as the person to go to when there is a problem with a furnace. I will use him if I have future needs."

He first came to do an assessment to get a better sense of what the job would entail and then quoted us a fair price. The job ended up taking longer than the initially quoted time, but he held true to the quoted price. He sent us pictures at various stages to ensure we were happy with the result. "Alex is a go-getter, first of the Angi recommended repair people to reach out shortly after I put in my request. He was able to swing by for diagnostics quickly to see what part needed replacement, and even though the supply house was closed for the evening he went above and beyond and was able to track down a part to get the furnace up and running so I didn't have to freeze for the night. While he was performing the repairs/ service he humored me asking general questions about my HVAC system and was quite knowledgeable. He left the area tidier than it was when he arrived, and talked me through additional preventative maintenance items to keep an eye on to keep the system running at peak performance, even covering a few items on the air conditioner side to look out for in the spring/summer when I fire that up next (it is winter now). "The installation process was quick and efficient for Able and Willing. The properly measured for the furnace and A/C to operate at the most efficient levels. A year later the thermostat caused a short to the igniter and they were able to diagnose on the phone after hours to at least get us until the next day when they installed a new Google Nest thermostat. All though the thermostat needed a common wire in which the existing wiring only had wires instead of six they got the thermostat to run optimally!"
