I called Our Place Air and Home Repair to give me a second opinion. The tech found the board had not even been installed correctly. He connected it and gave me suggestions on what more my unit needed. There was no charge for this second opinion or the work he did to fix the job the other company didn't do correctly."

"When our heater/air conditioner quit working in early January, another company, with whom we have had a service contract for many years, said the problem was a bad motherboard. They said they would need to order a new one and the repair would be done in 2-3 weeks. After four weeks, with no heat in the dead of a FL winter, we called and learned that the motherboard was now on back-order until April. So, we called Mason for a second opinion. They diagnosed the problem as a sensor in the wall unit, and not the motherboard in the exterior unit. They had the repair done in less than 24 hours. We canceled out service contract with the other company and will use Mason Air Conditioning and Heating in the future. They did the repair correctly, promptly, courteously, and at a reasonable price. They were excellent in all respects."
