They advised us not to spend the money for a new install on the first floor at this time as the wear on the floor was uneven and the heavy areas would be fine with a refinish. "This was for a whole-house installation of pergo-type laminate. Robert responded quickly to my query and came out after-hours for the estimate to accommodate my schedule. Absolutely no BS and no "sell" at all, he simply presented the information in a knowledgeable and concise manner. He promised to have the estimate for me by mid-day the next day, which he did. All items listed separately and clearly with a price. And the price was exceedingly reasonable! He worked with me to redo the estimate when I picked a different type of flooring, and when I decided to break the job into a couple of phases. Each time I felt confidence in his honesty - he took care to explain and even show me the figures. Installation was scheduled to be one and a half days. Robert and his five-man crew arrived on time. He discussed particulars with the crew leaders, then they began to install the flooring. They worked efficiently, like a well-oiled machine. They made good progress and were actually able to finish the job in one day, Since I was not prepared to have it finished so quickly, they helped me in moving things I was planning to move the following day. They took great care with my belongings and nothing was broken. They installed felt protectors on the bottoms of all my furniture. The finished floors look absolutely spectacular! What a transformation! I would recommend Robert's Flooring without any reservations whatsoever, and how rare is that in this day and age? Old-fashioned honest and great service! "If there was any knock of the install it was the aftermath. Empire sent two gentlemen out for the install. They did an outstanding job. The work consisted of wood flooring on a staircase to the second floor then the hallway and into an office. I had to let them use my garage to do the cutting because it was storming outside. They did a great job in cleaning up but after the dust settled....I'm still cleaning the garage two months afterwards. Its all good. I highly recommend Empire Today LLC. We love the flooring. :)"

"We were in a bind needing to get hardwood in a bedroom to replace old carpeting in a time-sensitive matter. Checked the big box stores first, and they could not reassure us it would be done in time. We have a family member coming to stay for an extended visit who is allergic. Mike met us at the house on a Wednesday evening to measure and the wood was delivered and installed that Saturday. Just a couple of days wait! (We had chosen "in stock"- Bruce Gunstock strlps so there was no delay either for scheduling the estimate, or ordering the materials). After installation, we didn't even find any "fix it" spots. Understand that we did not have to take any time off work at all for this project. Also, a shout-out to the office folks who reached out and followed up with us throughout the process. Great job, all. We were glad we "shopped local"."
