"I've done a lot of renovations since the 80s, working with contractors good and not so. Hands-down the best by far has been Willie Ratliff and his company All Things New LLC, recently converting a garage to an office / studio. He, his crew, and all subcontractors did exceptional work, clearly enjoying doing a good job and taking pride in it. Willie himself is an excellent listener, always open to questions, suggestions, and reasonable changes, gives solid advice. He really wants a happy customer. He and all of his crew were professional, personable, and easy to have around, and the problems that arise in any project were handled quickly and gracefully. My wife and I actually missed having them here after they finished. When the work started, they were on it five days a week, showing up punctually and staying with it through the day: no other jobs interfered. Then they cleaned up really well every day. I also like that they use high quality tools and know how to operate them. The project was completed very close to schedule, running only one day over, and the cost was exactly as shown on the estimates. All changes made during the project were noted and recorded on the day they happened, and all invoices and receipts were emailed punctually. All money dealings were straightforward and negotiated in good faith without anything odd. Willie Ratliff is an ethical man. "If there was any knock of the install it was the aftermath. Empire sent two gentlemen out for the install. They did an outstanding job. The work consisted of wood flooring on a staircase to the second floor then the hallway and into an office. I had to let them use my garage to do the cutting because it was storming outside. They did a great job in cleaning up but after the dust settled....I'm still cleaning the garage two months afterwards. Its all good. I highly recommend Empire Today LLC. We love the flooring. :)"

"I am so pleased with Mike Wyatt and his team of professional carpet installers (Bill and Jesse). They were able to fix all of the problems that my recent contractor had created. He had substituted the moisture barrier carpet underlay in my contract for a cheaper one and then installed it improperly voiding my carpet and moisture barrier underlay combination warranty. He stapled the seams or did nothing at all leaving gaps when the seams needed to be taped as specified by the pad manufacturer. Mike and his team obtained new underlay (the correct one) for me, rolled back the new carpet without damaging it, removed the substituted underlay and disposed of it, and re-installed the carpet. What a difference professionals that care about their work make! The end result looks wonderful and the seams that were badly done before are now not noticeable. I also don’t have a long piece of carpet that was just stuck in by my fireplace. They were able to stretch the carpet to fit snugly against it. I highly recommend this business. Call them first!"
