"I highly recommend this company for its service, professionalism, and detail to workmanship. From start to finish, I felt like this company had our interests as customers at heart. It started with the president of the company calling to see if everything was starting on schedule and to our satisfaction. During the work, there were some problems, but they handled every single issue promptly, professionally, and to our total satisfaction. The materials and their choices were outstanding. The 2 bathrooms worked on look stunning. We had shower doors and a vanity installed and replaced in a guest bath, and in the master, we had a tub ripped out and a huge double shower installed alongside a linen/medicine closet and a double vanity installed. The floor was also redone. The materials we selected and their construction techniques and methods have created bathrooms we have always wanted in our home. We are completely delighted with the work and how it looks. Sean, our salesman, put together a perfect package with great deals for us. And as for the workmen: the guys on site, Tito, Mario, and Fernando are truly outstanding, hardworking, and highly skilled. They are master craftsmen. The man who helped design and install the double shower door--I think his name is Caesar--was efficient and created a beautiful showpiece. Everything was done promptly, and within 2 weeks from start, we had 2 finished bathrooms that we are delighted with. The early change to a new project manager, Alex, had a few bumps, but Alex worked hard to make sure that the initial bumps were overcome, and we were informed and the project was moving along the lines we had originally planned under his expert supervision. We had 14 windows that needed to be installed, 4 custom panels built under the windows on the front of the house, and 8 dormers in our roof that we wanted to update per a custom design we had to replace the exisiting siding with Azek trim. Express Builders came out to take the necessary measurements and responded within 1 day to give us a quote with a very reasonable price. Throughout the time they were at our house, Fernando was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the materials and worked with us to make sure his team's work met the design we had provided. He worked closely with us to make sure the first dormer was right and then his team was able to replicate the same for the remaining 7 dormers. "Our home recently experienced roof damage from a wind and rain storm. The first company I contacted could not respond until the next day and fearing further damage, I contacted the next contractor on the list and I'm sure glad I did. I spoke to the owner of Country Wide Builders "Tommy" directly and after hearing my situation and desperation, responded within 1 1/2 hour placing a tarp over the damaged area while it was very windy and raining. While Tommy and John were here I ask for a quote for repairs, As it turned out we needed a complete roof replacement. My wife and I are recently retired and feared this would cost thousands of dollars we hadn't planned on spending at this time. Tommy gave us an extremely reasonable quote and had the job scheduled to be completed within a week. They helped me dealing with my insurance company taking some of the pressure off of us and walked us through the entire process keeping us abreast of every step. On the day of the repairs, the crew was here at 7am and worked diligently throughout the day completing the job around 4 pm. The crew took extra time to assure our yard and driveway was clean of debris especially nails and staples. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the folks at Country Wide Builders. They are a very personable, friendly, customer focused and results driven group who are out to please their customers. My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend this company to anyone needing repairs or a roof replacement. "For anyone looking to get waterproofing done in their home: I moved into my house about two years ago and would get floods in my basement during every storm. I tried to fix it myself environmentally but failed in my attempts. I then decided to finally fix the problem and get my basement waterproofed. Being relatively new to Delaware, I put in a request to get free estimates. I had a few companies come out to look at it and narrowed my choices down. I was down to Basement Waterproofing Specialists (BWS) and Basement Gurus. The difference was the representative from Basement Gurus had a more natural approach and took the time to ask numerous questions, as the other representatives asked little to no questions. The Basement Gurus representative suggested to fix internally AND externally, plus they even added a lateral system in my basement. No other company felt to even thought of a lateral systems or external drainage, or to even ask about it. I could not speak more highly of the representative and his team at Basement Gurus, they took the time to explain every step and the process before and during the installation to keep me involved with what was going on. The crew was extremely polite and respectful of my house, they were very efficient and they *did not play games* for lack of a better word. lol The very next day we had heavy rains, which I was excited to test out my waterproofing system! During and after it rained there was not even a single drop of water in my basement or laundry room. The representative even had his team remove and replace all of the studs that had become moldy and also put in new mold-resistant drywall. "They repointed mortar on a very tall chimney using carefully placed scaffolding to ensure safety. Also applied Chimney Saver water repellant as I had requested.
