Ken was very reasonable. He installed interior and exterior doors. I would use him again.

Ken was hired to nail down some windblown shingles on my high roof. He accomplished this. Price was right.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU HIRE! This was by far the worst experience we have ever had to go through. Ok, so we decided to find someone through Home Advisor. We entered in our zip and within a couple hours Ken Sandoval gives us a call. All is well, he came looked at our job and gave us a reasonable price. Job was set for 2 1/2 days with an extra 2-4 hours if he ran into problems. Our main concern was getting the job done in that amount of time being we had to attend our grandmothers funeral. So he was to start on that Saturday and end the job by no later then Tuesday. This was perfect being we had to leave on Wednesday. Start time was suppose to be 10:30am. Because he said he wanted to sleep in? Sometime after 1:30 we tried to call him with a simple response of, "I'm at the theatre". Showed up after 2pm saying he never said he was at the theatre. Gave him the benefit of the doubt to only have him stay for 2 hours with nothing getting done. This happened again on Sunday as well as Monday and Tuesday. We had to get our plane tickets moved to late Wednesday. Ken(Joseph) Sandoval has a horrible temper, never shows up when he says he'll be there, works for a couple hours here and there and blames you for the job being way more then he can chew. Bought supplies that he never explained to us. You simply can't approach this man, for fear of him blowing off the handle. To sum it all up, he did not want to finish the job that he said would be done by Tuesday. He wanted to extend it until after we returned. This was not acceptable being we gave him half the money. He started mumbling, cussing and slamming our doors. Ended up calling the POLICE on him. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Then he ended up calling and leaving a nasty message THREATENING ME AND MY FAMILY. Please read this mans reviews on yelp, google and home advisor. Please don't get caught up in this mess. Fair warning.

Ken was super quick to reach out to us and came the next day to give us a quote, and we set up an appointment to do the work as well. His price was fair and Ken did a GREAT job on rebuilding our stairs from our house to the garage. I would highly recommend Ken and his company!!

Ken was awesome. He bid the work at a reasonable price and he completed it immediately with a high quality. The only drawback is that is has been hard to get ahold of him - I need additional project work done as have others I have referred but I (and the ones that I have referred) have been unable to reach him. With the work he does he should expect to be busy- perhaps worthy of looking into a part time admin?!

I've debating posting something about Ken for a while now, truthfully out of fear and also trying to just to move on from my experience. I'll save the details. Pros: When he is in good spirits, he is a pleasure to work with. Quotes low prices. Seems passionate. Is very skilled with dry wall and detail. Local business. I think he truly wants to provide good quality. Is willing to "throw things in for free" (even though that came back to bite me). He is trustworthy in your house. He doesn't steal and if he breaks something, he will fix it. Cons: He has a terrible temper and didn't hesitate to use it on me about 2 weeks in. I became scared to even stand up to him and say "no" to anything. He bites off more than he can chew, and then cannot meet timelines or quote (enter in his temper). He began charging for materials and time that I did not approve. His contract is not specific because he doesn't "want to be nickle & dimmed" but that then gave him the ability to charge me for anything and show up at his leisure. He never provided me his receipts even though I asked constantly; he only gave me his invoice with the "breakdown". I found beer cans almost every day in the work areas when I came home, as well as some other extremely inappropriate offenses. He never finished the job. One that should have taken 6 weeks blew out to 6 months. He billed me for more than $5k over the initial quote and, due to my fear and complacency by then, I obliged. He claimed I kept changing the scope, which I really didn't. I think Ken just severely underestimated the work that was involved. I now need to have my entire shower redone because the grout is breaking, the shower doors leak water out, and I have black mold. Even though his work is under warranty, I refuse to have him back in my house. I think Ken is great for small jobs and dry wall. I think with small jobs, his work would be awesome quality with minimal risk of everything I dealt with. I truly think he's a good guy at heart and wants to do the "right thing," however no customer should have to deal with his temper. If you're looking to do larger jobs, go with someone else.
