Ken has a good price for his initial estimate, but continues to need more material or underestimates the project in his initial bid, resulting in having to pay much more for the work than originally discussed. There were many days he just was a no show or showed up very late in the day for an hour when he said he was going to be there in the morning.

I wish I had read the 1 star ratings in here before hiring Ken. My experience (except the temper part) was almost exactly as they describe. He quoted a low price up front, kept adding things without my approval, didn't tell me until he had already purchased a more expensive doorbell that the store somehow wouldn't take back the less expensive one I had previously purchased (so I ended up paying for both), claimed he was giving me things "for free" then added a few hundred dollars to an $850 job at the end for things that should have been in his original estimate. Perhaps the worst of all, I asked him to fill a mud hole in my lawn next to my driveway. He dug it out and filled it in with mud and gravel, then added a smaller packed gravel to the top. After this was finished and packed down solid, he proceeded to inform me - oh by the way, I covered up one of your sprinkler heads (!) I should have taken him to task for this and the extra charges , but I really just wanted him out of my house and to be done with him. He took way too long, never showed up on time, and spread out his visits over the span of almost 3 weeks to do what should have taken 2 days at most. Would never hire again - I'm not even sure I will use HomeAdvisor again after this experience. Be warned.

Ken did a good job on several projects he did for me. He put insulation in the attic as well as other small tasks.

On time. Friendly, Knows his business. Stays on the job. Plan to use him on another job

I like the fact that when he got lost trying to find my home he immediately called me and got on the right track. I love the fact that when he came to my house he got done in a very timely manner, my dog loved him, and he was just very nice. I will be using him again in the very near future.

I had Ken hang lights, replace fans, frame mirrors, repair drywall and a host of other things. He did each with equal skill and care. I recommend him; if I need any work done in the future, he's the one I'll call.
