This is the 2nd time I have used this company. Their Indiana team did such a great job with my Mom's house I decided to use the Florida team to treat my Florida condo when we had mold issues arise after our Air Conditioner started having issues. They were great every step of the way explaining the importance of keeping the humidity under control. They took care of the mold & mycotoxins that were present prior to their treatment. Post testing showed the mold back to normal levels & the mycotoxins no longer present. Plus, I feel better knowing they use a non-toxic approach. Would definitely recommend them!

Response from Company:

Thank you for taking the time to recognize the Florida team. We're glad they were able to take care of your problem. Keep us in mind if you ever need us again.

The contract threatened a very significant financial penalty for leaving a negative review. In my opinion, this is highly immoral - disgusting, frankly - and should be all you need to know. This review is not a condemnation of every employee. The lead tech in particular appeared to mean well, and I think the branch manager was put in a tough spot. However, I have to be honest about my experience with the company as a whole: In hindsight, I would have never hired The Mold Pros. A mold assessor's report was provided, and they proposed a job that did not include such a report in the post-testing criteria and was sold to me in a very misleading way in my opinion. Yes, I should have been more careful before hiring them, but what does it say about The Mold Pros that I should have been careful to not agree to their terms? After the first post-inspection, they did agree to come back, but their work was still not up to the standard of the assessor even after returning. It took hiring another company to finally get the assessor to approve of the work done. The other company spent much more time completing their work, and not because they were slow. The amount The Mold Pros charged compared to the amount of work they did was ridiculous in my opinion compared to the other company. In my opinion, The Mold Pros was very unprofessional and unethical in offering the job that they did, then consistently falling back to the fact that I signed the contract as if it makes what they did okay. The fact that I made the mistake of signing such a contract does not make the companyâ s behavior and the contract any less immoral. And it doesnâ t change the fact that we had to pay someone else to actually complete work up to the assessorâ s standard. Learn from my mistake. Hire someone else. Use an assessor that is knowledgeable and comprehensive in conducting a visual inspection, necessary lab tests, and anything else they may find to be relevant, and find a company that actually respects all of the assessorâ s findings. In my experience, this was most certainly NOT The Mold Pros.

I can't say enough good things about the Naples FL Mold Pros franchise, and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I had mold problems due to Hurricane Irma. I called 3 mold remediation companies to get estimates. One never called back in spite of a promise to my condo manager to take care of me; Mold Pros of Naples sent John B., who impressed the heck out of my partner and me; and the third sent someone who simply didn't compare to Mold Pros' John B. in terms of testing (within his legal limits under FL law), equipment, thoroughness, and apparent knowledge. And, as a bonus, Mold Pros' services are eco-friendly, which is very important to me. Their website describes their use of their own bio-enzyme formula instead of chemicals. After I hired Mold Pros, the service was amazing. John B. and his crew were extremely attentive, in spite of the enormous demands on all Southwest Florida vendors in the post-Irma weeks. I had lots of concerns and questions, which were always met very promptly with kindness and full explanations. And if a glitch did occur, they responded perfectly, in spite of their post-Irma workload. I certainly never hope to need this type of service again, but if I do, I won't shop around for vendors. I will simply, and with no hesitation, call John B. at Mold Pros of The Mold Pros of South Florida, Inc.

They did not disclose price from the start and charged much more than promissed

Response from Company:

Baha, There may be a miscommunication on your project. The project actually came in $345.00 below the estimate. For your project, we have the agreement signed by your husband on 9/22 with an agreed upon scope and price of $3,000.00. The scope included dry out equipment and a mold remediation. We completed your project in less than a week (on 9/28) and your husband signed the acceptance of completion with a total project costs of $2,655.00. He indicated he was happy with service and had only positive comments. At The Mold Pros, an detailed scope of work is prepared and signed by the customer prior to beginning a project. I am happy to review the signed documents and clarify the actual cost and scope Regards, John Bohde President of The Mold Pros.

We knew we had a mold issue. We hired this company to test the mold with the expectation that we would then also use them to handle the remediation. We were told we would have our test results within 2-3 days. Well, 2 weeks later and we are still waiting. I have called the company no less than 5 times over the past 2 weeks. They keep telling me they will look at our file and will call me back. No call backs. So we spent $495 for a mold test and they haven't sent us our results. Which means we still haven't been able to start remediation. Now we have to start over with a new company or handle the mold ourselves without knowing for sure what kind of mold it is. I would NOT recommend this company.

Response from Company:

Sarah, I apologize for any delay in obtaining your lab results. I have confirmed they have been sent. Per Florida law, we hired a 3rd party assessor to test your home. There was a delay with the 3rd party assessor due to affects of Hurricane Irma. We have contacted you via phone to explain the issue. You indicated you would like to have us inspect your investment properties and we look forward to earning a 5 star rating from you. John

Very quick to respond to my phone call and my search on Home Advisor. Came out same day and sent me a proposal that very same day. When I called to accept the proposal, they scheduled the service for the very next day. The technicians arrived early for appointment and did an excellent job. Couldn't have asked for better service.

Everything looks great! I am really impressed by how helpful Midwest Environmental Professionals has been. Living halfway across the country made it difficult for me to take care of my house. Midwest Environmental Professionals lived up to and exceeded their excellent reputation. Should I get the chance I would gladly recommend their services to anyone that needs them. Even my contractor was really impressed by the quality of the work that was preformed. Due to the least invasive procedures that they used I was able to not only save money by using their services but I also saved money on re-modeling costs.
