I looked at options of getting water softener from Home Depot or Lowe's because it seemed that would be much cheaper then going with a Pro company selling its own brand. By doing some research and taking some quotes for installation I realized that both point in my original perception were incorrect. Quotes for installation came about the same as then price of the unit in Home Depot, which made the total very comparable with the price from independent specialized professional companies. The brand these companies are selling is also not exactly their own. There are basically 3 major brands of Water Softener valves on the market: Clack, Fleck, and Aquatrol. They often do not sell to retail customers, but only to these specialized professional companies who package them with the tanks and hoses, put their own branding and sell in retail as a service that includes the equipment and installation. With the above in mind I went with a local SpringSoft company. The salesman Al was very nice and knowledgeable. He made every effort to accommodate my schedule first to come out to take the water test and then to schedule an installation appointment. During his visit he made sure I understand all relevant basics of the water softening process, discussed with me his recommended options, answered all questions I had and we finalized on getting me the system I liked for the price I was very comfortable with. And it came with the installation and lifetime warranty included. The installation technician Keith shown up at the time scheduled for me by Al. He knew exactly what he was doing. he installed the new system, replaced related discharge piping, hauled away the old system, cleaned up after himself and 2 hours later I had the new system up and running. Before leaving Keith also went with me through the customer programming of the system and left me with a set of manuals for my water softener. I am extremely pleased by my experience with SpringSoft and would recommend is to anyone who might be looking for a water softening system.

Salesman AL is a great guy. he is very honest and not letting you spend extra money that you don't have to. You really don't see salesperson like him. I also had Home Depot in my house. Home Depot salesman is terrible!! bad, bad... So do not automatically think the big store like HomeDepot is a good choice! Just one person did installation. It takes a little long time. He did a good job and cleaned up the area pretty good. I'm happy with my water.

Installation team completed all work in a very professional manner! The head team member provided detailed instruction on the new system as well as answered all our questions. We also revived a follow up call from the company reviewing our satisfaction and offering assistance if required, on any future issues or requests. EXCELLENT Customer service!

Just had a water conditioner unit installed by company. I was immediately contact after submitting information. AL met with me right away and provided much needed education. My unit was placed 3 days later without any problems. I was very pleased with the overall service provided.

The Company SpringSoft was quick to respond and on time. The sales rep, Al and the technician were knowledgable and easy to talk to. I will use SpringSoft again.
