Nick went out of his way to make sure he completed the job to my satisfaction. He explained how he was going to do all parts of the job (repair chimney cap, install the stainless steel cover, repair seals and flashing, and clean out/repair the rain gutters). He did an outstanding job. I will pass his contact info to friends if they need his service.

Nick, the owner of Public Service Maintenance, came out to inspect the work I was requesting to have done. He was very thorough and fully explained everything along the way. Previously I had two other contractors out to do other work and they had given me estimates that added up to thousands. These included chimney relining, roof work as well as chimney repairs. Nick through his inspections shared that much of the work that I was quoted did not need to be done and some preventive maintenance would go a long way extend the life of my roof and chimney. Nick provided a fair quote, lower than the other, and actually wound up doing more work the same price. He was always available for questions and explained everything he was doing. Nick was timely, professional, friendly, informative and honest to a fault. Nick did all the work with the help of Jimmy, one of his employees. Work performed included chimney relining and chimney cap installation. Roof cleaning and removal of moss. Chimney repointing and repairs. I cannot recommend Nick more highly. Nick was exceptional with his advise and upfront about the type of' person he is. The roofing job he did turned out great and he was definitely correct with his assessments. He showed up on time and the quality of work was excellent.

This was an excellent experience. Nick is personable and has integrity, upfront about costs and service, he even encouraged me to get additional quotes and compare. He showed up when promised and completed the job timely. While putting the cap on the chimney, he noticed a hole at the base of the vent stack, and repaired at a reasonable price as well. Nick s 25 plus years of working in his industry was apparent when he took the time to explain and make sure I understood the job he would be doing.
