I called and set up the service on behalf of my parents because my dad was in the hospital being treated for cancer. I spoke with Mike and scheduled a time. Bruce was the gentleman who came to the house. I want to point out that Bruce was very polite and the carpet was cleaned ... it was just soaking wet. During a three hour period of time (in which I was helping get my father home from the hospital) Mike called me a couple of times to get my credit card number (I was not looking at my phone all the time). I had every intention of paying for the cleaning, but I was driving from City of Hope to my parents home in La Verne and could not give him a credit card number and told him I would call him and provide it as soon as I could. I also let Mike know a about the really wet carpet. He told me (via text), "I find that hard to believe given the amount of time Bruce spent... " He then wrote, "if you do not want to pay for it, just say so." I was stunned that someone would talk to customers like this and told him as much. I called about three hours later to give my credit card information and a guy name Melvin told me that he was not allowed to accept payment for it. I text Mike and told him Melvin would not accept payment. He told me I had "refused" to give my credit card number --- did not happen -- and he would rather not accept payment that allow me the chance to review his company (his words were "trash" his company). This guy is just a jerk. I wish I could attach screen shots of his texts to me. In addition, the only number I had was Mike's cell phone number (he initiated the first call) and when I called it I talked to "Melvin" who sounded a lot like Mike. I was also texting Mike on this number. I would not be surprised if they are one in the same. I could have lived with the wet carpet (took two days to dry) because it was clean. I would not recommend this company because I think the owner is sneaky and he flat out lies. Such a shame because the guy who came to the house was an absolute gentleman. Again, I want to point out that I told Mike I was moving my terminally ill father, I said I would call and this whole incident transpired over a three+ hour period of time. Just find a company that will be honest.
