OVC was tremendous to work with. It was my first time getting into a big project and glad they were the ones to execute. Build was during pandemic & OVC still managed to get everything in order despite all sorts of materials on back order and under staffed labor, work was all done just as I imagined, they will be honest with you even if it costs them more money too! They truly care about the end result & your satisfaction. Highly recommend!

We hired Old Virginia Construction to fix a garage for a house that we were renting. They garage had been several damaged a car accident. Old Virginia Construction finished the job as quickly as possible given the supply chain issues. The company used high quality materials. Our GM was very detail-oriented and made sure he checked it with us on every step of the process to ensure we were satisfied with the work. It was not an easy process as we had to coordinate with an insurance company and our landlord to get the work done, by our GM was very good at staying on top of tracking and providing detailed change orders of what needed to be done. Would definitely recommend the for any home repair project.

They helped put our ideas into reality and gave us amazing suggestions that we canâ t live without. Our project was done on time and ON BUDGET! I have recommended old Virginia to all my friends and family that need any work and I look forward on using them again

I HIGHLY recommend Old Virginia Construction. At 2am I woke up to the basement flooding from the leaking washer on the middle floor. Old Virginia Construction sent someone in the next morning and started the work immediately. I had parts of the drywall replaced and the entire room repainted. Iâ m OCD when it comes to bad and uneven paint jobs but Old Virginiaâ s work was nothing but quality.

We hired Wissam and Rachael at Old Virginia Construction to completely remodel our basement and bathroom after a plumbing disaster compromised the entire area to include the foundation. We couldnâ t be happier with outcome of that decision and Old Virginiaâ s work! In the initial design consultation they showed a level of expertise and understanding that made them ideal for us. It was an untimely situation that we wanted to use as an opportunity for improvement, but we werenâ t sure how to proceed. Our space was unusually shaped which posed several construction challenges, but Wissamâ s problem solving and design expertise were only outshined by his friendly demeanor and enthusiasm for the project! From consultation through construction and project management, they were nothing short of friendly and professional, patient and flexible, throughout the entire process. Wissam even kindly fixed our front door and a piece of exterior trim for us which had nothing to do with the initial project! The project was on budget (with no surprises) and, despite the Coronavirus slowing everything down, on time. Their work is phenomenal (the photos speak for themselves) and we couldnâ t be happier with how it all turned out!

Please keep searching. This is only their third review. I went with this company because they had decent customer service initially, and because he touted decades experience working with drywall and baseboard. As he walked through my home to deliver the estimate he noticed other drywall work that he suggested be done, and offered to do that at no charge. I should have been suspicious from there. I'll set aside the fact that he was more than an hour late the first workday, and that the work took several days longer than promised. I am leaving a review because the work has not held up at all. Quarter rounds are coming off the wall because they were only secured with one nail. The closer I look at my home I see areas where old baseboard was not removed. The new trim is higher than the previous boards, so there are corners around doors where the trims on each edge very clearly do not match. This was restoration work after a flood. My insurance will credit back my deductible after assessing the repairs done to my home....and they would not give the deductible back after looking a the work. So I have to get this fixed twice in the span of a few months, at which point that credit will be useless. His estimate was more than others I found. I did not want to do the repairs on the cheap, I wanted something that would last. I did not get that, and I don't think that you will. I'd suggest a more established company, that is who I will hire to fix this mess.
