Reviews
Write a ReviewIt pains me to write this type of review, but after trying to reach out to this contractor twice over 10 days to repair/resolve some issues, I feel it is important to let others know about our experience. Nick's tile work itself is great. He was meticulous in the craftsmanship of the tiling itself, but was like an angry bull in a china shop. Over time, we discovered things that were damaged or not completed properly. First - I wanted to be involved in moving our appliances to avoid damage to the floors. Instead, he did it himself and left several scratches and a gouge in our hardwood flooring. Second, when he reinstalled the dishwasher, something was damaged underneath. I had to call an appliance repair person because the dishwasher was making unusual noises the first time we used it after he left. While the repair person was here, he pointed out that the insulation to the dishwasher was not reinstalled as well. Third, after he left I noticed that our vanity mirror was chipped in the corner. I had to replace that. Fourth, the trim along the kitchen cabinets was not fastened properly. One small piece of trim was reinstalled with a screw that can be seen as you enter the home. The longer pieces were never nailed back into place. While he was hear, you could hear him constantly yelling out of frustration. When I would ask if everything was ok, he would say fine - which now I kind of get where the frustrations lie by the damage created. He claimed that if there was any problems, to let him know that he stood behind his work for lifetime. I'll be quite honest, I don't typically expect issues that require that long of a warranty, but it seemed an honorable thing to offer, but our experience, we were definitely reluctant to do so - out of concern he would rush through repairs causing more damage. About 10 days ago we had our toilet replaced and discovered that the contractor didn't finish the grout underneath the toilet, only to the very edge. This creates issues when you install a new toilet with a different footprint. Now there are ½" gaps of missing grout along two areas. This was really the last straw for me before deciding to reach out to them. I tried emailing the contractor twice via email over the last 10 days since the toilet install and have not received a reply. I cannot recommend this business because of the damage, lack of professionalism, and not bringing up damage he caused.
Nick was great from the start. He contacted me within minutes of posting my project. He was professional, knowledgeable and communicative. He arrived prepared and on time. The new stone he installed on our fireplace is beautifully done. I would highly recommend him.
Very professional. Excellent work.
We requested a quote to tile a new dog wash station. Nick was quick to respond to my request and he provided me with a consultative approach to the work he would complete. We were impressed with Nick arriving at the time he indicated, his commitment to his work and his patience with all my questions. I will call him again for any additional tile work we need done. We are very happy with his work.
He did a great job. Quick too!
Nick did an excellent job, love my new fireplaces, attention to detail, work ethic and good daily clean up. Would hire Nick again and would recommend him.
