Reviews
Write a ReviewI was not fully satisfied with the deck and fence that the Minor Adjustments LLC Team delivered. While I could accept a couple of imperfections, such as an uneven and shaky fence post and slash in a deck floor panel, I could not accept the unplugged deck stair holes and the deck siding that was installed with the UNFINISHED SIDE facing outward. Mr. Minor insisted that both practices were standard, even though the final appearance looked incomplete/unfinished and amateurish. When I informed him and he saw that a neighbor deck stair holes were plugged and had a finished look, he acknowledged that he was not familiar with the technique, but did nothing more to correct it. With respect to the deck siding where the UNFINISHED SIDE of the boarding was used, the ragged board connections, nail holes, and pencil markings can be seen from up to ten feet away. He agreed to patch one of the most obvious connections but refused to correct the full siding by having the FINISHED SIDE FACE OUTWARD unless I PAID for the materials and/or labor. When I confronted Mr. Minor with my disapproval, he insisted that I was a know it all and I did not know what I was talking about. We ended the business transaction in a contentious conversation and me having to pay another contractor to fix the incomplete/unfinished work. In all fairness, the actual deck is appealing aside from the holes and sidings, but failure to acknowledge my concerns and correct the shortfalls left me disappointed and dissatisfied. I rated the value for the money low because I now have to hire and pay another contractor to correct the siding and holes, which should have been done correctly the first time.
I had been trying to get my chain linked fence replaced since June and I have never seen company's act like they didn't want to take my money (Lowes, Long Fence). I was either never contacted back or was given a 8 week time frame just for materials. I contacted Matt of Minor Adjustments on Monday evening and he came out to give me an estimate within a couple hours. He was very professional and concise with what needed to be done and how long it would take. Needless to say in less than a week his guys were onsite tearing down my old fence and installing the new one. They were also professional and focused on completing the project and doing it correctly. I would definitely use this company again.
Good. Very much a consistent presence all the way through.
Excellent!!!
The owner of this company and the staff are great. They are honest, reliable and easy to work with. Their pricing is reasonable and the final product is superb.
Fair and good customer service
Professional staff and very nice work. Could have left the yard in better shape but rain and heavy equipment will take a toll on grass.
We found them friendly, professorial and timely. I would definitely recommend. Very informative about the job I needed done for my yard.
The would recommend that you have detailed information and drawings of what you want your project to look like. During my project many conflicts and questions arose over how they performed the preparation, framing, and type of concrete used. This project was to replaced the old concrete do to water standing which in winter would freeze at the bottom step. The new concrete has the same problem of small area of standing water after a rain.
Thank you for your feedback but if a homeowner will not tell me what I am doing the job for, like in this case it was a standing water issue it makes things difficult. If I had been made aware the many times I asked what we were doing job for, we would have just needed to build up the grade using select field dirt when packed down the water diverts away from it. Kevin used his own design and was unwilling to inform me of the problem until after the fact, he would not take my suggestions, my advice, and advice with proper changes to the design and his design still has the same standing water issue at this time. I can not read minds, this could have been resolved quickly from the get go if I had been given the proper info at start of job. I am going to reach out to you shortly to see if we can resolve....
Mr. Matt and his team were professional, courteous . He took time to explain the job. I am really impressed with the craftsmanship that went into this side porch. The ground was very uneven and they had posts and steps the needed to work around. It all came out perfect.
