Langley Design Build

My refrigerator leaked and destroyed my kitchen and basement. I texted the attached picture to UE of my kitchen demolished to a saturated subfloor, and said “I may need a new kitchen.” Two days later he showed up with a design for the new kitchen and told me that if we could order the cabinets quickly, Langley Remodeling could have it done by the end of October (this was on the 29th of September). They succeeded, beautifully. They are an amazing team. The designer who put together the design and revisions on their vacation. Starlyn for successfully managed the impossible timeline, and the beautiful craftsmanship of Juan, Luis, Eduardo and Balmore. I’m so happy to have this spectacular kitchen to host the holidays in.

After purchasing our house a year ago, my husband and I decided that we were finally ready to replace the countertops and backsplash that did not fit our tastes (or the cabinets we had repainted). We reached out to 3 different contractors and firms to get quotes, and from the beginning Langley Remodeling was our first choice. They were able to send us a 3D rendering/mock up design of our kitchen just based on pictures and ideas we had forwarded along, as well as the most reasonable quote for time, labor and materials. UE was incredible to work with - he absolutely understood our vision from the moment he stepped into the house, and helped us make the absolute most of our partial kitchen remodel. We didn't have to worry about buying our own materials - the Langley team handled everything, and completed the entire project within one week. The rest of the team - Starlyn, Nelson, Armando and Alease were absolutely top notch and kept us well informed at every step of the process. We are so pleased with our new kitchen, and will absolutely be using Langley Remodeling for any future work we need done.

My husband and I embarked on an ambitious large remodel in our home. We wanted to change the layout of our first floor to lend to a larger kitchen and more functional use of the space. We wanted to move the kitchen to the dining room, open up the wall and use the old galley kitchen space for a pantry and mudroom area. As well, we needed to update our master suite, including adding a walk in closet. To make everything cohesive, we also refinished all of our hardwoods and replaced the doors and trim throughout the house. We interviewed and obtained quotes from four contractors. Out of everyone, UE was the most responsive and excited about the project. Our design and layout concept was in line and price was comparable with other quotes. We started almost immediately. We liked that the same team was in our house throughout the project. Oscar was great and Hector checked in all the time. We stayed in the house during the project and the team was respectful of our space and let us know times they would be where and when. We were kept in the loop the entire process and quickly were asked questions before changes or decisions were made. UE called or saw us every week. The project wasn't without it's bumps. There was a few times we disagreed or were not happy with something, but the team was responsive and talked it through. At the end, the trim painting wasn't up to par and they immediately got another group in to fix it. All in all, we were happy with the project. Renovations are stressful, especially with small children. We made the best of it and are happy we went through with the project. At the end, the team was part of the family. We are extremely happy with our new space (basically our entire home). Our space is more functional and just beautiful. We feel like we are living in a magazine.

When we purchased our home in Fairfax, we knew that we wanted to remove the wall between the tiny, dimly-lit kitchen and the dining room, to create a modern, large eat-in space. We spoke to several contractors (and even paid one for a horrible design), but we were blown away by the concept and price provided by UE and Langley Remodeling. On day one, solely based on photos from the home listing, UE arrived with a plan and renderings that were beyond our wildest dreams for the space. He and his crew transformed a tiny, L-shaped kitchen, into a bright, spacious area with a giant island, huge pantry, ample cabinet space â  and even room for a kitchen table. In addition, they updated our adjoining powder room and entry. UE worked with a structural engineer and handled all permitting issues to remove the load-bearing wall. Then, under Hectorâ  s supervision, a crew of skilled artisans worked tirelessly to complete the project. Throughout the process, UE and his crew were professional, respectful of our family, and communicated well. Although we are very pleased with the finished result, the project took several weeks longer than planned and was not without itâ  s issues â  which Iâ  m sure is often the case with large projects of this kind. We expected that the crew would show a greater attention to detail than they did, but unfortunately it was left up to us to find fault with their work and provide lists of the items needing attention. The backsplash had to be redone several times, and many other small items had to be corrected. Also, we were stuck with mismatched tiles that could not be returned, discovered that Langleyâ  s purchaser had ordered a used fixture, and had a sink vanity that would not fit, because the space was not measured properly. Most importantly, and to UE and Hectorâ  s credit, without complaint they made sure everything was corrected to our satisfaction. We absolutely love our new kitchen and powder room. Langleyâ  s amazing design has transformed a drab space into the bright, inviting area that is the center of our home. UE and his crew were a pleasure to work with, and the project was completed for substantially less cost than the competitors. We already have plans to work with them on our master bathroom remodel and and addition of a garage. We highly recommend Langley Designs.

Langley Remodeling recently finished our master bath remodel. Before it was builders grade, old, and boring. Now it feels like a 5 star luxury resort. Every part of the process with Umut and his team was smooth and easy. His quotes are comprehensive and include 3D renderings of the finished room. His crew was professional and did an amazing job. I cannot recommend them enough, we will definitely be using them again!

Langley Remodeling updated my fireplace with a new mantle and hearth. From the beginning of the project to the end U.E was great to work with. Excellent customer service and his team did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them.
