"From start to finish, APX Home Improvement was exceptional. I have contracted to renovate several properties and APX is number one. Alex was very detailed as we reviewed what the project entailed. He made constructive recommendations that transformed the condominium from a 1970s property to a 2020 property. The finished product was amazing. The cost was competitive and the work was completed in a timely manner. I could not have been more satisfied. I highly recommend APX Home Improvements. ."

"I wish every contractor I hired were 1/2 as good, if not more. They are truly professionals in workmanship and customer services. I went through several vendors before I found KS, I'm happy the other vendors didn't workout because I wouldn't have found Kitchen Savers."

Masonry, Concrete
"This company rebuilt a badly deteriorated cement-block retaining wall which supports my elevated driveway, repaired numerous concrete sidewalk cracks and a crumbling step, replaced an ugly, old, insecure chain-link gate with a beautiful steel door, and installed attractive brick borders around a couple of small garden spaces (after also cleaning up those weedy spaces). The price was more than fair; I'm very pleased with the work, timeliness and charming personality. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again."

"The number one feature of working with Bell Decor is that they are problem solvers and they go about that with creativity, intelligence, honesty, and good spirit. That is not always, or even commonly, the case. I have done a half dozen significant projects with the company over ten years, all successfully with any issues showing up mid-project handled without complications or drama."

"I absolutely love my new bathroom! It's beyond what I expected. I would like to recommend others to come here and modify as per their needs."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
