Reviews
Write a ReviewKelly has been wonderful to work with and completed the job on time and for a fair price. I trusted him completely and was very satisfied with the work performed. I plan to hire him for additional work.
Kelly might be able to 'Repair or Patch Asphalt' but he can't do Gravel Driveways! He cheated us! My husband is disabled. Kelly told us that he could repair our gravel driveway but he either could not or did not do so. He took an advance payment from us for materials, but would not show me the lading bills. We have no idea if we got the material that we paid for or not, but we didn't get my husband's "most important thing" - a landing at the road. Kelly gleefully told us it was not in the contract and yes, we had missed his omission due to his messy handwriting. We did not get the "diversion dams" for the steepest part, which were listed in the contract. The driveway never held -- even before it rained! I paid additional for two more asphalt pads after losing much gravel to floods. Kelly came back once to smooth the ruts on the steepest grade and he said he would return to compact it, but he never did, and it rutted again! It is so rutted badly that the mail carriers won't drive up. We need Kelly to come back and properly do the job. It has been one year of begging him to return and do so. Furthermore, I said "NO MILLINGS" but that is exactly what Kelly put on our driveway! I can't rake out the ruts. It's a rock-solid mass of ruts. It is difficult for me to drive our car up and down the driveway. We paid Kelly $8,675 for driveway work (plus $450 for a concrete step) but don't have a passable driveway, which is a special concern because my husband has serious health problems. We suspect that Kelly spent our advance payment and then went cheap in order to pretend to do the job. We strongly recommend that you DO NOT HIRE Kelly for a gravel driveway job. We need Kelly to either bring ALL needed equipment and materials here, remove the millings, and finish the job properly, OR give us a refund. As a minimum, we will accept 1/3 of the contract price, $2K, because 1/3 of the driveway was not done according to the written contract (i.e., no water diversion dams). When I said that a flat surface won't work, Kelly said if the steepest part of the driveway doesn't hold up (without diversion dams, side ditches, or a crown in the middle), that he would come back and fix it. He doesn't keep his word; he 'plays keep away'.
Kelly understood our drainage and paving requirements and his proposal reflected this understanding with a clear description of the work to be done in his proposal/estimate. We selected the company because of the clarity and precision of the proposal/estimate. And they accomplished the job as proposed.
They were very professional and courteous. The quality of work performed is excellent.
Hunter's development did a great job. Kelly was professional and got the job done. Great job and service all around.
Dealing with Kelly was nice as he know what to do and advised me with what I needed to do to fix my driveway. The crew showed up on time and were professional in all manners.
Showed up on time - did a great job - really nice people
A pleasure to work with Kelly and his crew. It was an asphalt patch job where driveway meets front sidewalk. The work was carefully, professionally done. They were prompt and the cost reasonable.
