Friendly and professional, the job was completed in a timely manner and what they did was explained and pointed out (strapping the water line etc). They cleaned up after the job was completed and left everything in very good condition.

The old water heater brand was AO Smith, and I told the technician I wanted the same brand because it had lasted for 20 trouble-free years. I think he agreed. But he came back with a Rheem unit. When I challenged him about that, he said he told me Rheem. It is possible that the mask may have muffled his response and I heard him wrong. Anyway, I agreed to accept the Rheem unit. When he had finished installing the unit, I noticed there was a kink in the over-temperature/pressure relief connection. When I pointed that out to him, his response was that it will work just fine. I guess he was right about that. But a true professional should never settle for such sloppy workmanship. He was kind enough to tell me that if the temperature setting needed to be changed, just let him know and he would come back and change it for me. After a few days, I felt that the temperature setting was indeed too low, and I called the company to set it higher. They responded promptly, but the technician who came was a different one and he appeared to be much more professional. After the reset the temperature setting, I mentioned the kink in the pressure relief connection and he straightened it out in less than a couple of minutes. I am writing in such detail so that the company can properly guide and train their employees, for positive improvement towards service excellence.
