"I called 8 pool service companies to repair my non-working pool pump. I sent pictures of the pump to 5 of them. 2 promised to come out within 2 days and never showed or contacted me again. 1 company came out but said they thought I needed an electrician. Elite Pool and Spa Services stayed in constant contact with me and came out when they promised. They replaced the motor but then realized the filter unit was bad (very old, pieces coming off and leaking badly). They quoted me the price to replace the filter unit and told me when they would be back. Right on time, again! They worked diligently and double and triple checked for any leaks. The difference in water circulation in my pool is absolutely astounding. I actually cried when they switched it on and it worked beautifully. We were unable to use the pool at all and now we look forward to a long summer of enjoyment. I am also hiring them to do the weekly maintenance on my pool. I very highly recommend Elite Pool and Spa. "Overall, I would highly recommend Swimming Pools of Florida. They are competitively priced, offer a quality product, and the customer service experience was top notch. We sourced two other quotes from larger pool companies, and the comparable quotes were all within $2,000 of each other. We chose Swimming Pools of Florida because Javier, the owner, was our main point of contact. His experience and patience allowed us to build exactly what we wanted, and within our budget. We ran into several issues that Javier helped resolve. One major issue was access to our backyard was very tight, and if we could not dig with a larger excavator it would have cost thousands more. The other pool companies would not work with us if we could not get access from the neighbor yard. Javier called my neighbor, explained the process, timeline, and assured him that everything on his property would look like it did before. The timing from contract to swimming was longer than we expected, but most of that due to permitting. Two years later, we are totally happy with the pool. The office staff at SPoFL is also very professional and responsive. I recently had the LED screen on my pool heater go out. They immediately addressed the issue, contacting the manufacturer for a work order, and replaced the part under warranty for free within a couple of days. Knowing that Javier has a lot of industry contacts, I also reached out to get a referral for a reputable company to replace my septic tank. Two years later, I left him a voicemail and he called me back immediately. I am now under contract with that company. "I've had Amenity Pools doing the service on my pool for several years and they also resurfaced it about 4 years ago. They're a good solid company but thats for another review. This review is for Charlie the electronic tech that changed by chlorinator today. Charlie stopped by my home yesterday to check on the chlorinator at the request of the pool service tech. Charlie found it in need of replacement. He told me he'd return the next day with a new chlorinator and after I'd forgotten all about it and it was after 6pm, Charlie arrived with the new chlorinator. He was working late because he wanted to fulfill his promise. Charlie was very professional in the way he spoke and as he began his work he practiced good safety skills and completed the installlation proficiently. He was very familar with the work required and the process in which to complete it. His interpersonal skills with the client were very good and is a credit to Amenity Pools. I was quite happy with all the work done."
