Good guy
Very thorough job and full of tips and information to assist the homeowner in making decisions to improve air quality of their home.
Easy to work with
Very professional and responsive to questions. Great detailed report with over 100 pictures. And with detailed remedies to repair possible mold removable and preventive measures. However, the report was a visual search only. I understand there is no current mold levels deemed safe for everyone but I did not find the report very valuable for the cost.
Mrs. Goode, Thank you so much for your review! We are honored that you chose us to guide you through restoring the house back to healthier conditions. We are so glad you were pleased with our visual inspection, photo set, and report. That was the first part of our service. It provides us with the basis upon which we guide you through your projects. Please call us to begin the next phase of our service: The conversation/guidance part. Let's discuss our findings, answer your questions, and your work plan for the house, as we guide you through your projects. You can fix the issues we've identified. It's the coaching that comes next. Rick, Bridget, and Scott at A Healthier Home.
A thorough inspection with excellent recommendations for mitigating the humidity and mold issues in our property. Knowledgeable expertise and ongoing communication and follow up.
He gave us real solutions and not quick fixes. I really appreciated everything!
Phil. Keep us posted as you implement those measures to restore house healthiness. Next steps will be to be on the watch for the earliest signs that Mother Nature is trying to turn your house back into a jungle. Keep up with the maintenance measures that you learned from us. Call us with questions as they come up. Thanks. Rick, Scott, and Bridget.
Rick was unbelievably thorough and educational. He took time to understand first why I wanted the evaluation. Then he took the time to explain to me what he looked for, what he found and what it meant for me. He went into every nook and cranny of my house, took pictures and provided a through report when he was done. He then made recommendations based on his findings and even provided some service providers I could reach out to. Overall a great experience and so worth it!
Thanks, Jaime. Your house needs you to keep it healthy. It can't do it on its own. That's why your house needs me to give you your personal tutorial about how your house works so you know what to look for and what to do to get it back to health and to keep it healthy going forward. Thanks again. Rick Bayless. A Healthier Home.
Rick has an intuitive, holistic understanding of how homes work. I was extremely impressed with his depth of knowledge and expertise - everything was very well explained and I felt we were in very safe hands. Rick also definitely saved us money as we originally thought it was a mold problem, but it turned out to be something entirely different, requiring a different solution. One of the most expert tradesmen I have worked with, highly recommended.
Thanks, Paul. It wasn't intuition at all. As you participated in our examination at your own place, you saw just how unhelpful it is to just do a mold air test, or even to apply just a mold perspective to house / health issues. The key is to bring in the broad perspective of the environment, house, systems, behavior, and health by someone who has done the work for decades of learning, exploring, crawling, climbing, discovering, and thinking to develop the understanding of the where, why, what, and how of houses going sick. Sorry...it wasn't intuition at all. But thank you for making it sound like I did something mysterious and magical. Rick Bayless. A Healthier Home.
