Veteran's Concrete

I work in the concrete pavement field and Jay was very patient as I went through my list of common mistakes I see made that lead to early distress in residential concrete, and he knew all of the best practices. He was willing to work with us when we had to delay and make some last minute changes based on our HOA. The work was mostly good, but there were some minor issues during construction with his crew. He was very responsive and went out of his way to get things fixed to our satisfaction as soon as we let him know which says a lot. I would recommend Veterans Concrete for future concrete work.

They were great. The work was done right and quicky. We are very happy with our finished patio. Overall great experience and good value.

Did great work first time around. Then I needed a small follow up which required him to cut out a small strip and fill it back in after electric was run. I was told that there would be a minimum to mix a full truck in order to match the color correctly. He charged me a ridiculous amount on the minimum and then his guy showed up with a bag of concrete a wheelbarrow and some stain. He filled it in and it definitely doesn?t match. This guy is a rip off artist m. I feel lucky that I got away with the first job having no issues. I would not recommend.

Jay was the first to respond and did consistent follow up. He was on time with the day scheduled and the outcome is perfect. His affable personality makes communication easy.

Jay and his team were very easy to work with. After showing Jay the work that I wanted done he spent time with me explaining how they would do the project. When it came time to do the project the team did exactly what Jay had said they would do. I am very pleased with the outcome of the project and would highly recommend them.

Jay said: Bud, I've been on business since 1985 and have hundreds of 4 and 5 star reviews, so you go right ahead. I'll be sending your texts to all the contractor sites. This was after I simply tried to get an install date after paying a deposit and waiting, waiting, waiting with no communication. He went on to say: I don't know if you work weekends or Sundays, but I try not to. I had to beg for anything after the quote. Jay does not work Sundays, weekends, or evidently most other days. Threatening me when I merely asked for an installation date, by telling me that he would send my text to all the contractors, basically implying that y'all powerful Jay will see to it that no one would let me hire them, is immaturity and a contractor who is a lawsuit just waiting to happen. Take a look at the Yelp reviews for this bozo. You work hard for your money. Jay doesn't. He doesn't work weekends by the way and completely resent debugging him on the weekend to the point where he threatens you. Angi? Did you stop screening out the contractors who live with their mother?
