The tech that came out was not very professional. He did a maintenance check then found a problem and said it would be an additional cost of around $300. We agreed and he was to call and come back the next day. 2 days later, after multiple calls to his number, we had to call HomeAdvisor to be put in contact with the company. Now they said it would be a $600 repair, We told them the $300 quote and they did agree to do it for that since they had neglected us. Then when tech came out he said he found more that needed repaired and it would be $600 ? Our furnace is in crawl space under house, my husband can not get to it due to his health, so we just had to take their word for it all and hope when done it was all repaired correctly. We could not use our furnace till done, so we felt we had no choice in finding someone else at the time..

Response from Company:

I called this client and worked everything out. Sometimes when we begin to take things apart we see behind or inside of another part and have to address the issue after the work has begun. This was a health and safety issue that HAD to be resolved. We cannot always tell the extent of the problem without taking things apart. I was willing to refund the additional $300 but the client said he was satisfied. We have let this technician go since this. My sincere apologies.

Donny worked his rear off making the bore of a collet 3/16" larger in order to accept the spindle of the new actuator motor. And he did it with a smile.

I had been told by another Htg&Cooling company that my compressor was shot and needed replaced. I had Dad's out for a second opinion and they were able to determine that all I needed was a new thermostat and 3 lbs of freon. It is working great and they are now the Htg&cooling company I will call. Very professional and explained in detail what was wrong. Highly recommend this company.
