Reviews
Write a ReviewThey did a great job in a timely manner. Would use again.
I hired Antonio Chavez and Lea from Aurora, CO. to finish my basement with Sheetrock, taping and sanding, texturizing, and paint. They have done a terrible job in which I have communicated with them asking them to come back and make it right. They have refused. It turns out they also covered up or removed my smoke alarms in my basement that were present before they started. They refuse to answer the question if they were removed or covered over. I guess I'll find out if the batteries die and the smoke alarms start chirping. That will require that I cut a hole in the ceiling just to get at the smoke alarm - if even still there. I have tried many times to get these two to make things right, but they refuse. I would never recommend Antonio to do anything again unless you want to pay for very substandard work. Sincerely, Jackie McMahon
Awesome job. Great communication!! Price was right !!
Did a great job painting 1300 sq ft. condo. Timing was impeccable and lines were neat. Easy to work with. Fulfilled everything we agreed on. Very reasonable price.
My wife and I have been through hell in the last 1.5 years. Tony and Lea know our story and know the trauma that we have endured and still walked off with our money. We thought they were going to be the good ones. We thought how great it was for us to finally catch a break. Boy were we wrong. They may be the worst of them all. Kicking someone when they are down takes a special kind of person. The morning I was late to see the tile guy, I had been up all night doing mutual aid with the unhoused folks in Denver. I did not mean to pass out but I did. I fell asleep in my vehicle. And that is the day they walked away with all of our money. My wife and I are trying to help people while they are running away with our money. I believe it was Good Friday. I did not know Good Friday means rob your neighbor for them. Jobs started but not completed 1 - they did a large portion of the demo but have not removed the debris. I purchased a dumpster that was supposed to be included in the demo price, but they have since added a lot of trash 2 - Upstairs bedroom has been sitting for weeks. The bedroom flooring has been at the house for at least 6 weeks. They delivered it but never installed it. The sliding glass door is roughed in. The tile for the wall and below the tub is not installed. 3 - Office upstairs has the floor installed but not the shelving for the closet. 4 - Upstairs bathroom is a mess. The tile in the shower is installed. A very small area was grouted incorrectly. The tile behind the toilet, behind the vanity, and the hallway wall has not been installed. Two tiles from the floor are not installed. The vanity and toilet have not been installed. The new lighting is not installed. 5 - Kitchen is mostly gutted. The cabinets have been sitting for weeks. The kitchen floor is installed but not completely grouted. They broke the granite that is in the window. 6 - Basement flooring is not installed in any room. It has been sitting for 6 weeks. The tile in the basement bathroom is not installed either. Everything is ready for installation. They have been given a large amount of money and are saying they do not have to return it because it is spent but our agreement says very much the opposite. My wife and I moved out of our home aver a year and a half ago due to a large asbestos spill. We have been through the ringer with our insurance company and they have delayed us time and time again. When we met Antonio and Lea we shared our story in-depth with them and really thought we were finally meeting honest workers. The fact that they ran away with a very large sum of money after knowing the extent of our trauma, shows just who they are. I was raised to finish what I start. They are leaving us in a situation that makes it difficult to get another contractor to come in. Having paid for so much work that is not completed, we now have to pay another contractor to do work that was already paid. We have asked several times to have them complete the work and they just ignore us. They actually tried to say the money we gave them was already spent. That is a complete lie. I have documented every dollar and connected it with the pricing given for each job.
They did a fantastic job painting the entire interior of our house. Worked within a tight timeline and were considerably less than the other 3 bids we got. Great communication and wonderful to work with.
Lea and Chavez are honest and straightforward. I'll recommend them highly.
Lea was super nice and easy to communicate with. They went above and beyond the expectations that I had.
Excellent to work with - friendly, did a great job on painting my entire house. Very affordable as well! My house is beautiful
This family business was exactly what I expected. They listened very carefully to what I wanted done and followed my instruction with professionalism. They painted almost every surface in the house and it was great. They sprayed the living room ceiling and when it looked a little streaking-they painted another coat by hand to level it out. They cleaned up and pulled all the tape and left the house clean. I would work with them again.
