Reviews
Write a ReviewNice group of guys , knew what they were doing , no problems .
Overpriced and you do not get a breakdown of your bill. (hourly rate, parts, etc.)
They were prompt
They were rude and unprofessional. I feel that they over charged me. The tech was grouchy and not very knowledgeable about the job.
The issue was pilot light would not stay on in the water heater. Not an emergency. Called 2 other plumbers besides Benjamin Franklin. Benjamin Franklin said they had a plumber in my area who could be out to me in 15 minutes. They were right on the money. Within 15 minutes of arrival, he had diagnosed the problem and said he could fix it in no time. Josh the plumber was friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly I felt he was being honest. My Thermocouple was out and within an hour he had it fixed. The only downside was pricing. The job cost $197. After consulting with another plumber I got a quote of $150. Despite this My overall experience was great and I would use them again!
The technicians who came to my home were on time, well-trained, polite, and kind. Their estimate was right on target, and they went to special efforts to try to be sure my issue was resolved completely. This is the second time I have worked with Benjamin Franklin plumbing, and they definitely have my business from now on.
They came right out and were very professional.
Was hired for a lawn sprinkler back-flow replacement, which was done ok and everything, but told me we had no way to isolate and blow out system, and it would cost $1400 to install valve. Valve was later located, overgrown by a little grass.....4 from back-flow preventer. Sprinkler professional found it in 1 minute after I called for second quote. Good plumbers, sprinklers not their strong suite...
Greg was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was kept informed throughout the process and would definitely use them again.
