Write a ReviewIf I could give negative stars for our experience with B. Franklin Plumbing I would. They would not warranty their work when we refused to pay for them to install a pressure tank that they said was required by code, although it is not required by any city of Wichita or Sedgwick County code. After charging over 2 times what the going rate is to install a water heater their work would not pass a code inspection because the room where the water heater is located was not properly vented.

[Repair/Replacement of main vertical 4" dia riser pipe, (soil stack)]: BFP-Wichita usually does good work, though more on the expensive end. The technician did not check work after he finished, so later in the day, another technician had to return to the job in the evening to fix what an earlier technician forgot. A reminder to check the work before the technician leaves.
Do great work in a timely manner. However, pretty pricey even for the quality of work provided. Their tech was spot on in explaining what he was doing as he moved from one project to the next. Very pleased with the work done, but again pricey when you're living on a fixed income. Should have 'specials' they can offer to their senior customers.
The added suggestions can mount quickly. I said yes to most of the suggestions but was still very expensive.
Plumber was informed, careful, completed the work well. Thought the charges were high.
Did a professional job although it required a second trip to complete the job.
Extremely nice crew. Explained in detail everything I needed to know.
I hired them to fix a leaky faucet. Cost me over $290 and the faucet still leaks. I was told that I need a new faucet after almost 3 hours of labor. Plumber was great and he provided good service but when I reflect on this, it doesn't seem quite right to spend so much money and still have the same problem.
They did a professional job in a timely and courteous manner. Would do business with them again.
