We were experiencing occasional musty smell and humidity in our 1924 old Spanish house that has original wooden floors over a crawl space. I reached out to Advanced Environmental Services; had a great initial call and visit to our house to scope the work with their CEO, David Towner. He answered all my questions and provided a fair price. We contracted and scheduled to have them install a vapor barrier in our crawl space secured to the bottom of the floor joists to help eliminate the issue. The week of the job, three guys showed up and began to work the crawl space. Richie did an amazing job, working in an incredibly tight crawlspace, securing the vapor barrier across all floor joists in the crawl space. I was working from home all week so I had a chance to interact with them as they worked the job to completion. When done, pictures were taken and shared with me showing the vapor barrier attached across my crawl space. The guys were very customer focused and I'm very happy with the work they did. I would definitely recommend them.

Hired him; there were 3 jobs i contracted David for: - exterior drainage : he quoted for â the entire perimeter of the houseâ but only did half, and invoiced for 100% - interior waterproofing : did part of the job, when the leveler popped up in parts of the job, the Laticrete technical expert came and recommended all popping areas be craped and redone; he refused to do it and quit the job. - tiling : he overinvoiced me by 42 % on the sqfootage. He left after having damaged a water pipe outside the house he refused to repair for 3 weeks, left trash all over. Cannot accept any comment when anything is not right, never his fault; totally full of himself and dishonnest. I have documentation and proof on everything.

Our company has a zero-tolerance policy for racism and xenophobia, even from customers. Mr. and Mrs. [Consumer Name Removed] made it very clear from day 1 that they were uncomfortable with an African/Muslim employee. They kept pushing me to remove or fire the employee from the job with zero cause. I refused. When the employee notified me that the couple was following him and filming him with an iPhone, I confronted Mr. [Consumer Name Removed] who said that he was looking out for my "best interest" because he did not trust that specific employee's work ethic. I advised him that he had been a full-time employee for over three years and I didn't need his assistance to supervise my crew. After three more similar incidents that bordered on harassment and abuse, I made the decision to pull my team off the project and told Mr. [Consumer Name Removed] to find another contractor. However, before we departed, I made sure that all of the materials were left on the job site and left very detailed instructions for Mr. [Consumer Name Removed] to give to his new contractor to finish the remaining 20% of the project. Mr. [Consumer Name Removed] was never invoiced for any work that was not finished nor has he even paid for the work that was done prior to us leaving the project. We filed a lien for the work that we completed and Mr. [Consumer Name Removed] is retaliating with a negative review.
