We didn't quite know what we wanted but had some ideas. John helped us redesign our pool and our patio with ideas and taking us to several examples to get more ideas. They were very easy to work with, professional, on time, great communication and really went above and beyond our expectations. "Remodeling a pool is daunting and costly. Finding the right contractor for your project is a must. It pays to get several quotes and opinions. Luckily, I found Chris and Blue Sky pools through a friend in the housing industry. Chris knows and hires the best pool tradesman in the business. (Nearly all pool companies hire subcontractors and oversee the project). Blue Sky offers reliable, responsive, and reasonable service without the middlemen/women (eg., accounting, marketing, managers, and assistants). This results in one-on-one, attentive consultation and superior work at a quality price! On top of this, Chris is honest and not out to gouge you, a rarity these days. "My pool/spa heater was not working right and I had family coming to visit from Colorado who wanted to enjoy a relaxing dip and soak in the pool and the Arizona sunshine. With time running out to get the heater working and after many failed attempts to fix it myself I went to Home Advisor and saw McCallum's Pool Service was highly rated so I asked for a quote thinking I probably would have to wait some time for anything to be done on the heater, especially since I thought there was a real problem going on with the pool. I got a return call almost immediately and we set an appointment for the following morning. At the appointed time John called and said he was on the way. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the heater and found that there was also poor water flow to and from the main pool pump. He repaired the problem with new parts he carried on his truck and quickly got the very old Teledyne heater working as it should. He also advised me that there was a couple of other small things that probably should be done for the pool pump to work efficiently. The price he quoted me was very reasonable so I asked him to do what needed to be done. My pool, spa and heater are now working better than they have in years, even after being serviced by other companies. I was impressed by John's knowledge of all things related to swimming pools and how quickly he worked. From beginning to end it all happened in less than 24 hours. The total price was below what I expected and the service was superior. My company is relaxing in the Spa at this very moment. McCallum's is my new number one choice for anything swimming pool related."

"Needed to resurface my older diving depth swimming pool. We met with a total of 6 vendors. OC Pools was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered a favorably priced estimate. They didn't have as many color choices for the pebble as some companies, but we were satisfied with our options and went with OC. They did a thorough job jack hammering the old surface to permit a thick (strong) layer of new pebble lining. They installed new waterline tile, some turtle mosaics, and the pebble surface. They also put in a new suction line and variable speed pump to replace the old pressure cleaning system. Everything turned out great and we're very happy."

"They resurfaced my old pool with mini pebble, new tile and added a dedicated pool vacuum suction line and auto fill line. It looks great. They were able to add the 2 lines without cutting concrete, which really surprised me because the spot to tap into the water supply is up against the wall of the house under a patio cover with concrete slab. Plus they had to go under several feet of cool deck. Cody also fixed a leak in our skimmer for no extra charge. Another company quoted $350 for sealing the skimmer. Platinum Pool Care did the whole job in less than 10 days even though rain delayed one of the scheduled days. When it was done I forgot to get someone to turn off the hose that was filling the pool so it overflowed and got debris in the pool. Cody came out and cleaned it up for no charge!!! Awesome service, I highly recommend them!!"
