"My experience was that I was truly dealing with professionals. My neighbor called them to work on their system and they were so satisfied they recommended we give them a try. That turned out to be a good idea. Background: I had called a different company when my heater would not turn on. The OTHER company sold me an $800 inducer motor and said I needed to have the exhaust stack rebuilt ($2,000). Well, the motor didn't fix the problem, and I said no to the quote. I also never answered their calls again. The folks at Straight Shooter were all professionals, from the rep who initially looked at my furnace to the two fellas who came to install a new furnace a mine was hitting the twelve-year mark. At no time did I ever think they were trying to fool me or 'reel me in', so to speak. When the ceiling had to be cut and opened up to get the old unit out (in pieces even) I could ee that no one was happy about it but, the ceiling was opened and the old unit removed. I had used HomeAdvisor for my work before and thought i would give it a go. I put my job up and Cool Air for You was interested, so I submitted it (they were the 2nd interested). Vadim called to schedule an appointment for him to come out. He said he could be there the next day. With only a 1hour window! Big guys were giving us 4 hour windows. He arrived well within his window. We were not ready to repair, as the guy we had come out and do a diagnostic from a big CO. Told us it would be a band aid, and replacing the complete unit was the way to go. 3ton unit for $15k?! We had to shop! Vadim and Cool Air for You felt he could get the A/C unit working. He took a look and fixed it in 30 minutes for far, far less cost than the big companies. Professional service. I felt like he cared. He gave us tips others haven't. Genuine guy.
