"Woke up with no heat! Right before Christmas! Harris responded instantly and sent out someone to check the problem. Due to incorrect installation, rain had gotten into the improperly sealed roof vents, which in turned fried the transformer, inducer and circuit board. They were at my place bright and early the next morning installing a brand new furnace, more efficient and quieter, with a 10 year warranty. Arranged financing and were finished by 3pm. They offered to come and fix the problem he next morning (day before Thanksgiving) but I declined because I was going away. Frank visited the property the same day (10/16), and came back the next day to fixed the furnace. I spoke to the tenant, and she said she now has heat. Prior to contacting Old Skool I contacted a contractor who had done work on the furnace for the last several years. They advised me that the furnace could not be fixed and that they would not even consider repairing it. The only option the other company provided was replacement at almost a cost of $3,000.
