Paver patio ( remove the old one and put in next door neighbors yard) pull some tree stumps and back fill rock in certain areas. "I hired Mike to pour a 1,600 sqft pad. Mike was prompt to start the job, stayed on the job until complete, worked around weather challenges (poured in late December) and cleaned-up and re-graded my previous contractors issues. Mike is experienced and knowledgeable in concrete work. "My job involved the removal and replacement of an existing deteriorated concrete patio and walkway and the installation of a metal post in the new concrete. Turner Services submitted the lowest of three bids received. After being notified that he was the successful bidder, the owner, Cody Thornhill, quickly provided, via e-mail, a contract detailing the scope of work and a copy of his Certificate of Insurance. After overcoming an equipment issue at the outset of the project, the work was performed quickly. The old concrete was removed late in the afternoon and the new patio was installed the very next day. A base layer of rock was installed (about 4 inches) and compacted. Then a 4-inch layer of resin reinforced concrete was poured and finished. My experience with Mr. Thornhill and Turner Services was excellent. There was a minor miscommunication regarding the installation of a post for the fence gate. I provided a metal post and a gate latch to be installed after the patio was poured. The intent was to be able to latch and existing fence gate to the newly installed pole. However, after the post was installed in the newly poured concrete, there was insufficient clearance for the gate latch. This problem was quickly solved to my satisfaction. In summary, Turner Services performed all work in accordance with the contract and my expectations. Overall, there was excellent communication throughout the job. Based on this experience, I will used Turner Services for any future concrete work on my properties."
