While Dream Makers was not the low bid, the extras they included that the other company did not (extra rock fill behind the wall, including a 90 degree return instead of just ending the wall at the property line, adding an apron of construction fabric covered with rock in front of the wall to stop erosion) showed an attention to detail I didn't mind paying a bit extra for.
