"We had a 60' tall brick chimney collapse on our kitchen roof the week before Christmas, 2024. East Wood came out immediately to remove the weight from the roof, shore things up, and protect the roof from elements short-term. It was an enormous relief. The crew needed to repair the damaged rubber roof, remove the brick chimney altogether, shore up internal walls, reroute plumbing, etc. Only then, could they turn to the kitchen renno, which involved damaged walls, cabinets, etc. Throughout, Chris Burke and his team were tremendous communicators, careful/attentive workers, and efficient workers. Don't hesitate to reach out to them for your next project. We would 100% hire them again!"

"We hired Maize Restoration for their comprehensive project evaluation (CPE) This is in advance of the actual renovation project and this review is specific to their CPE. We liked the idea of first engaging Maize restoration to scope the project throughly before committing to using them for the actual renovation. The process involved a few on site meetings (at our house) and several hours of detailed information gathering by Chase, Maize's president. We were pleased with the result of a couple of lifelike 'photos' of the completed bathroom and a roadmap of how we'd proceed. Chase "got it." Based on this, we have engaged Maize for the remodeling and we look forward to working with them on that project. Chase had come highly recommended by a couple of colleagues. We have interviewed a number of contractors for the project and we found that Maize's CPE gave us the confidence that they understood what we needed and would be good to work with. Chase was punctual, knowledgeable, and dare I say fun to work with."

My project was not only a complete kitchen, wash and living rooms renovation, but had an added challenge to enable full wheelchair access to age in place. It involved gutting and re-locating walls, adding wood flooring, removing a house entry door/stairway and constructing a new window all within the existing space confines of the home. Keith not only nailed it, but his innovation also made wheelchair accessible areas immerse themselves in the natural aesthetic flow of each room.
