My winter lawn was spot clean, thatched, edged, the flower beds from last year cut down for new growth to spring up, and with their powerful blowers pathways and driveway were also spotless when they left. I never had such a positive experience with any Lawn Service. Oscar also comes weekly to mow the lawn. Another great team work; mow, edge, trim where the machines do not fit through and following clean up."

"Simply put, you will NOT find a better, more honest, more helpful, more easy-to-work-with, reasonably priced contractor than John Lee and his crew at J & K Home Improvement & Restoration! We had a "complicated" set of circumstances when our home was damaged by a storm, last winter. The insurance company sent out an estimator to assess the damage and, after the company recommended J & K Home Improvement & Restoration, I was introduced to John Lee. I eventually learned that John also does estimates for a variety of insurance companies (because his company is so well regarded), and he patiently listened as I described the nuances associated with our house. During our initial consultation, he was able to clearly describe all of the steps that would be necessary and answer all of our questions. Long story short, not only was John able to address EVERY single concern and request that we had regarding the eventual repairs to the house (including roof, siding, and a window upgrade that would have cost much more if we had done it at a later time), but he spent plenty of extra time making sure that everything we had talked about was addressed to our 100% satisfaction! He was also able to persuade the insurance company to cover more complete repairs than was originally specified by the first adjuster! In addition, when we had an electrical "hiccup" associated with all the pounding on the walls, John quickly sent an expert electrician to locate and correct the problem. He absolutely could have passed those charges on to us because the failure wasn't due to any mistake on the part of his crew but, instead, he picked up the unanticipated expense himself. It was truly a pleasure to work with John! He made a difficult situation as easy to manage as possible, and we would strongly recommend J & K Home Improvement & Restoration to anyone who wants to hire a quality contractor that stands behind their work and well-earned reputation!"

"We were very happy with DemoWorks. The price was fair, the work was good and the workers friendly. Initially, my husband and I hired DemoWorks to remove two small walls/doorframes and to drywall our front hall closet. This was no easy feat considering our house is 100 years old, has mostly plaster walls, and had an old exterior wall now acting as an interior wall in our home. We also wanted, what we thought were, two old, capped gas pipes removed from our living room wall. When Monfilio and Drake arrived to do our project, Monfilio immediately stated that he believed the gas pipes were actually old electrical boxes. At this point, we had several estimates from other companies on the cost of removing these gas pipes and, yet, Monfilio was literally the only person to suggest that he believed these capped pipes were actually electrical and when we opened up the wall, he was right too. Monfilio was always willing to offer advice and information about the construction of our house. You could tell he has a great passion for homes. There was a small misunderstanding and he was willing to fix it so that we were completely happy with the project. He even stayed late (unprompted) to make sure it was 100% complete before he left. Long-story short, we were so impressed with the work that they have done for us that we actually asked them to come back to remove a third doorframe, after our first project was completed. At this point, all of our projects have been completed and we are very happy with the results. It is also worth noting that all the employees that have worked with us on our projects have been professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. "Had the pleasure of partnering with Jolanta & her team for our our "mini" renovation i.e. refinishing 1200 sqft basement to include full bath, laundry room (move existing laundry from mudroom on main floor) reading nook, fireplace, entertainment area, bedroom & two separate new staircases. CONSULTAITON: Upon arrival Jolanta was prepared with taking measurements & hand drawn schematic drawings for each room; discussed options & feasibility for structural modifications/changes. DEMO DAY: the team was quick, efficient and maintained a consistent level of cleanliness upon their departure EACH DAY & throughout the project scope. COMMUNICATION: was key and I felt very comfortable working with the team on layouts, structural changes & appreciated their expertise when sometimes the answer was 'no' because of structural safety or existing ducts which could not be moved. I valued their creativity to give me the final results on my new staircase, bathroom, reading nook and laundry room (our project was tough at times because existing duct work could not be eliminated or moved). They always approached me with questions to ensure I approved any changes to layouts due to unforeseen issues. ATTENTION TO DETAIL/QUALITY: Jolanta and her team consistently demonstrated attention to details throughout the project & the quality of work was brought to life in the final results.
