"The owner, Tito, and primary construction engineer came to my home to provide an estimate. They were kind and prompt and gave me options based upon my desires for my deck. And this was a deck redo from some prior shoddy work done by another company. They did not pressure me and overall seemed to want to provide a professional service and make it better. The next day, I had an email to provide a specific estimate . Tito remained available via email text or phonecall. They stuck to their estimated start date and kept in touch for any rain delays. They saved my pergola from the work of another contractor ....something they did not have to even try to do for me. I also asked for a privacy wall adjustment just prior to construction. Tito took my idea with ease and again gave me options. It was great, honest, prompt, reliable work at a good price. I would trust them with your hard earned money. I love my deck!!"

"Jefff was excellent in explaining what was going on. I had annother contractor sceduled in the house that ran over time. Jeff moved his date later for us. He really was a no nonsence contractor. Our house looks like a new home. Each morning when I come down my stairs I am in awe of how it looks!"

"John got in touch with me as soon as I listed my porch repairs needed on Angi. I gave him the okay and he started the job the next day. The whole project took less time than I expected which was excellent since I was under a time constraint. He has a very down to earth but experienced crew. I have a 120 year old house and she needs extra care. And I am very happy with the finished project. Many thanks to John, Dale and the rest of the crew."

"Ty at Lincoln Renovations is thorough, honest, and an excellent craftsman. He did an amazing job with a major renovation including taking out a structural wall, moving two staircases, adding an en suite bathroom to our primary bedroom, and completely remodeling the kitchen. He even salvaged old trim and repurposed doors to ensure the renovation stayed true to the original beauty of the home. He was great at communicating about unexpected changes to the scope and timeline, and offered different options mindful of our budget. We also hired him to repair and replace the porch, back deck, and all the exterior trim and gutters on our 100-year-old house and he made it look beautiful! IĆ¢ d highly recommend Lincoln Renovations."

Your research doesnāt stop here. Once youāve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
