This was the first major project I have done to my home since buying it where I was extremely apprehensive as to what the experience would be like from friends and colleagues sharing stories about contractors lack of commitment and reliability once they secured a â job.â Let me just share that Andrew with his son Daryn, never missed an appointment and kept me in the loop on a daily basis if weather was going to play a factor in progress to build my deck as well as taking pictures every day when I had to leave my home. My deck was old and starting to rot where Andrew suggested a composite product which requires minimal maintenance. He also made recommendations but ultimately let me make the final call. "The contractor, Sean Hunter, is very friendly and a hard worker. He let me know what needed to be done and why, and he gave me a reasonable estimate. My two decks were badly in need of cleaning and staining and even needed minor repairs for nails sticking up out of the wood. Sean completed the power washing one day, and then he came back and finished the entire staining on another day. He seems to really care about doing a good job and he is a good communicator. He will call you to let you know when he will be there and he is very honest. I would use Sean again in the future for any deck maintenance work I might need."

Old city came to my house with a multitude of projects on the checklist and completed each one with an attitude like it was their own house! They first fixed/installed flooring in the basement with an incredible amount of focus and integrity on the work at hand and it was not an easy task with so many issues left from old owners BUT It turned out amazing! I also had broken stairs, a closet maid to install and issues with a wall in the bathroom. They did it all quickly and efficiently. "The owner, Tito, and primary construction engineer came to my home to provide an estimate. They were kind and prompt and gave me options based upon my desires for my deck. And this was a deck redo from some prior shoddy work done by another company. They did not pressure me and overall seemed to want to provide a professional service and make it better. The next day, I had an email to provide a specific estimate . Tito remained available via email text or phonecall. They stuck to their estimated start date and kept in touch for any rain delays. They saved my pergola from the work of another contractor ....something they did not have to even try to do for me. I also asked for a privacy wall adjustment just prior to construction. Tito took my idea with ease and again gave me options. It was great, honest, prompt, reliable work at a good price. I would trust them with your hard earned money. I love my deck!!"

"Ron at Panzas was simply the most knowledgeable about our composite wood deck/siding, the proper cleaning solution, correct cleaning techniques, etc. in selecting the right company. Ron is also responsive, prompt and real easy to work with. He showed up early today, and stopped us from moving all of our patio furniture, gas grill, refrigerator, etc. off the deck; and then sweeping the deck. Ron said that Panzas would "take care of everything", and he did...and then some! Ron did railings and areas that weren't included in the job quote, yet held firm on his quoted price. Ron also explained why our deck was getting dirty. It's not like me to take the time to write such a review, but Ron and Zack sure exceeded our highest expectations...and will be back next year for sure!"
