Long story about my incredible experience so far below: Our roof and siding were older, losing grit and fading, and we had lost some shingles in a storm. After having another company out that was okay/average, I did some research and read a ton of reviews. Home Genius Exteriors really stood out from the rest, so we decided to setup an appointment. Our Home Remodeling Expert was named John and he was the best! He did a complete and thorough inspection of our home inside and out (including using a drone). He even went up into our attic mid-summer to see what was going on under the roof. He then took us though all of the photos and videos and explained what was happening. He also listened to what we were hoping to improve. He provided multiple options and recommendations and answered all of our questions and concerns. Next thing I knew we were creating models of our actual home and toggling between different colors, styles, materials, etc. John was extremely patient as it took a while for us to get it dialed in just right. He wrote up our project, helped to find some discounts and areas we could save money to stay within our budget without compromising the end result we were now in love with. We decided to get a roof, siding, windows, patio door, and gutter replacement to completely makeover and modernize our home. The next day we were contacted by our Home Genius project coordinators Tiffany and Beth to schedule our roof install and to have a technician out to remeasure and confirm our windows/patio door order. I figured it would be a while to get on the schedule...They blew me away. Measurement appointment tomorrow and roof install the next day! Our measurement technician was named Frank and he arrived on time, took off his shoes without being asked (love that), and his attention to detail was impeccable. He even went as far as to reconfirm our order and to walk us through what to expect with the windows and patio door install. That afternoon Brandon, our Home Genius Project Manager for the roof install, called to introduce himself and provide a detailed timeline for the day of the install and to see if we had any questions. He also informed us when the dumpster and materials would arrive that evening. The next morning Brandon and the roofing installation crew showed up at 7:00 and began prepping our home, including hanging tarps from the roof to protect our landscaping and even moving all of our deck & patio furniture out into the yard for protection. Then the work really started - the crew was incredibly fast and efficient! They had all of the old roof off in less than 3hrs. By lunch they were done laying the new underlayment and starting to put on shingles. They worked non-stop. The roof was finished by 8:00 and what I really appreciate, is they spent almost an hour cleaning up the jobsite and even using magnets to make sure no nails were left behind in the grass or landscaping. Brandon was terrific throughout the project. He provided detailed explanations of what was happening, provided updates on timing and progress, answered all of our questions, and made sure that the installation was perfect. He even came by the next day to do a second final walkthrough to make sure nothing was missed since it was getting dark the night before. Roof looks amazing and we could not be happier! Can not wait for the next stages of our home transformation!"

"If you are looking for a contractor who is very experienced, does consistently high quality and exacting work, and who is reasonable, pleasant and easy to work with, then Drew Johns is your man. We have hired Drew to do a variety of jobs, large and small, inside and outside, over a period of almost ten years, and he does not disappoint. He has done plumbing and electrical work, painting, patio-screen and wooden frame replacement, deck-staining, installation of fixtures, fans and outdoor railings, construction of a very large closet, and various types of repair work around our home, e.g. plaster, house wooden trim, doors, chairs, tables, etc. We appreciate not only his skill level and breadth of knowledge, but that he is professional, respectful, prompt, a really good communicator and honest, i.e. has qualities and character that are not easy to find these days, but are very important to us. "I had OBA replace my 60+ year old sewer line which was being eaten away by tree roots and a drainage pipe that had collapsed under a new driveway that the former homeowners had put in. From the associate who provided the estimate to the two crews that came to perform the work, I was thoroughly impressed with this company. Not only did they provide a better quote than two other companies I had take a look, but they also provided great recommendations about what to fix and what was unnecessary padding. They were able to schedule the work within the same month and I stayed around during the construction to watch them work. They were very polite, mindful of the neighbors and checked with me each time they had to do anything off script. Even the city inspector who stopped by to inspect the work indicated to me privately that the crew knew what they were doing and was performing good work. No one wants to dig up their yard to replace a sewer line but if it is something you have to do, you want to someone you can trust. I couldn't have been more happy with my experience with OBA and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a similar repair."

"Ron was professional yet friendly. He listened to my concerns and discussed options. My crew was awesome! They didn't speak much English, but we used Google Translator and at one point Saulo even got a person on the phone to translate. The crew was friendly, efficient and very hard working. I was impressed by their work ethic, manners and attention to detail. I would have them back for another project in a heartbeat! "IThey called quickly after my input of a request for information. Kevin, their office man, connected me with Don to set an appointment time. I found Don easy to deal with and he understood my need to do only half of my windows and doors at one time because of personal finances. Once we told him to go ahead and set a measurement date, we were ready to go. The only thing in the whole stage that wasn't cooperative was the weather. Soon our date for installation arrived. The install guys (for the life of me, I cannot remember their names) worked like a well rehearsed symphony. They were awesome together! When the job was finished, our back exterior where the doors and windows were placed looked fantastic. I would very highly recommend this company. Everyone in the company was professional and had our best interests at heart. Don recommended alternatives so we could stay within our budget, and I cannot say enough positive things about the installation guys. An A++ in my books. I will be dealing with them in the near future to finish the windows and doors for the front of the house."
