Ohio Basement Authority

The under pinning worked well. I am very pleased with results. All thought I am not happy with the the way they left the job site. Mounds of dirt and truck ruts in my land scaped yard. I would say they are a company that doesn't clean up after themselves.

?? Honest review of Ohio Basement Authority ?? We hired Ohio Basement Authority to fix issues in our basement, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. Not only did they fail to fix the original problem, but after the work was done, the problem became worse. We trusted them to improve our home and instead were left with more stress, more concerns, and unresolved issues. We expected professional service and lasting results, but that was not our experience. I?m sharing this so others do their research before hiring. We just wanted our basement fixed, not made worse.

DO NOT DOE BUSINESS with Ohio Basement Authority!!!! I spent over 30,000 dollars on this repair and have gotten nothing but the run around about fixing their inability to do the job right the first time, They did a horrible job with back filling my foundation I hired them in 11/2025 after the first rain it settled so badly I called them out and they put some mulch down to back fill who does that Ohio basement does that! The settling keeps getting worse I have never had a problem with water in my basement and now All the water from rain and snow sheds right to my foundation. They didn't connect the down spout damage a porch rail and basically took their money and ran. 4 Times I have called about this they were to come 1/23/2026 and DID NOT SHOW UP!! I did not even warrant a phone call so DISRESPECTFUL to me and my home. Just stay away from Ohio Basement Authority unless you want to give your money away!

Iran H and Chris M and Max W. These guys came out and did an amazing job in my crawlspace. They had to tear out work done just last summer by Stay Dry that had not done work at all ohio basement authority did work well above standards if you need work done please puck these guys

5/5 for this company and 5/5 for the inspection done on 4/18. Ithe inspector(Brady) arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection . explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. Even discussed possible future concerns

DAN LAUTERBUR GAVE MY MOM AN HONEST OPINION BASED ON A THOROUGH INVSTIGATION OF OUR ALLEGED MOLD PROBLEM. I SAY ALLEGED BECAUSE I GOT TWO DIFFERENT QUOTES FOR RANGING FROM $3000-$5000 TO FIX AN ISSUE SHE DID NOT HAVE, WHAT THEY WERE TELLING ME WAS MOLD WAS ACTUALLY EFFLORESCENCE AND THE MOISTURE LEVEL WAS LESS THAN 2%. CALL THE BASEMENT AUTHORITY DON'T SCREW AROUND WITH ANYONE ELSE!!!!! THANKS AGAIN DAN!!!!

Shawn and his crew (Elijah and Simon) did an amazing job. Extremely professional and super nice guys. Took what is a very stressful thing for a home owner and made it super easy. Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Highly recommend these guys!

I scheduled an annual service inspection, but no one ever showed up or called to cancel.

This company is so lucky to have Matthew Workman on their payroll. He came out to assess groundwater leaking in my basement. He was transparent and direct about everything. He explained in detail the problems he saw and the reason behind them and didnâ t make me feel stupid when asking what were likely very basic questions given his expertise. He helped me find the best solution for our house and finances. He was professional, kind, and all around just an awesome person. He ended up having to take a lot more time with us than Iâ d imagine heâ d anticipated bc of complications on our end re: some of the paperwork. Not once did we feel like he was rushed or annoyed - I really hope Ohio Basement Authority takes time to honor his contributions to their company bc he is 100% the kind of employee that any business would be wise to invest in - thanks again, Matt.
