Yancey Company

Yancey only started our bathroom remodel project this past week so I can't give a complete review yet, but so far everything has been going well. They will be installing new granite counters, cabinets, lighting, plumbing, flooring, sinks, shower and leveling the ceiling so it's all one height.

We had our bathroom completely remodeled. The Yancey Company staff helped with the choice of materials and we were very happy with the results. Customer Service was very good. There was a minor problem with the grout, which they remedied.

The estimater, Al, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The primary on our job was Jim. He was always on time, clean-up was unbelieveable. I cannot brag enough about Jim. Our painters were really the weak link. Flooring and counter tops were right on schedule. I was most unhappy with Patricia, the project manager, who worked in the office. She is the main reason I had to mark the customer service so low. All the other workers were a 4+.

Yancey's revived my bathroom with marbled tile floor, a taupe tile accent wall, wall shelves, new toilet, lighting, and ceiling fan, soaking tub and a petite sink. Yancey also replaced the ancient plumbing in the basement. Their initial estimate was very knowledgeable and complete-- they fully advised of City requirements for electrical upgrades and such. The work was amazingly fast-- completely finished in 10 working days. Very helpful and professional customer service: they fiercely pursued options when I had problems matching faucets to an unusually small sink. Not inexpensive-- but you'll be glad you chose them.

The Yancy project manager made everything simple by providing samples of the things we needed at their showroom, and the installer did a wonderful job right on time.

We had the hall bath tiled--floor and tub surround -- new window, tub, granite countertop and sink, fixtures,fan, and toilet installed. Mike was easy to talk to and did a beautiful job. We love the new bathroom! So much that Yancey will be doing our master bath next month:) Yancey also replaced 2 patio doors and a window--we are very happy with these, too. We have been very happy with the quality of work and products used on both projects to date.

We were very pleased with the whole experience. They took their time with us and showed us a variety of materials until we saw what we wanted. They answered all the questions we had about the process. The estimates they gave us for a finished date were right on. Their worker, Mike, is a jewel. He was here everyday when he said he would be, usually very early and many days we left before he did. He did an excellent job making sure everything was done to perfection. We would certainly call them for any other remodeling we needed. Very Good doesn't even begin to discribe thier work. The are Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, Yancey Co. was willing to take on my small bathroom (5' x 7'), so that was a great start. Some other companies didn't even bother to call me back! Tom met with us on a Saturday to look at the showroom and plan the remodel. We decided on a total gutting of everything in there. About 3 weeks later, the job began. Because there was so much work and very little space, the job was planned for a possible 6 days. However, Mike and his partner finished in 4 days. Our new bathroom is fantastic!

While the project is not scheduled to start for a few weeks, we are impressed with the detail of the quote and quality of materials reccomended for our remodel.
