"Kurt Robinson and his foremen Jim and Cody were JUST GREAT to work with! All of these men were VERY communicative and kept their appointments or called ahead with changes. Kurt met with us and showed us pictures of what to expect and actually guaranteed our pricing. He said if they ran into a "snag," that was on them. He kept his word! That was SUPER important to us on a tight budget! NO financial surprises! And the finished product is beautiful. NOTE: We wanted an aluminum enclosed patio with sliding windows and screens to be used as a sunroom. You can choose from 2 inches or 4-inches of insulated walls, depending on your targeted price. Wood-construction estimates were crazy expensive, and we just wanted an enclosed sunroom-patio. So for us, these guys really beat the competition hands down! And Kurt will show you pictures of exactly what you want AHEAD of time, so there's no negative surprises. We HIGHLY recommend them!"

"When we decided to put our outdoor kitchen in, we hired Chris because of the quality of work he has shown on previous projects that he has done for us. His commitment to superior craftsmanship as well as his exceptional communication with us is of true value. The project was well organized and the cleanliness during the process allowed for our living environment to be minimally impacted.. His bid was accurate and when we added extras, they were fairly charged. We are very happy with the outcome and would recommend Mountain Oak Development without hesitation."

Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
