Write a ReviewHorrific experience. Our truck was scheduled for 9am Saturday and we were notified at 6pm Friday it would not be arriving until 9-11 Sunday. On Sunday at 8:50am we are notified that the truck would not show until 5pm. The truck finally arrived at 11pm Sunday and did not finish loading until 3am Monday. This pushed our drop off back two full days. This company prides itself and we were sold on the fact they own their own trucks so we could avoid headaches such as this. They showed up in a UHaul. Additionally, our sales rep, Mike, mislead us on appropriate truck size to use despite giving him an extremely detailed inventory (we needed a full extra truck, thousands of dollars more money) and gave us packing information that was incorrect, which led to more stress and last minute issues. The company?s communication was horrible and transparency non existent throughout this experience, adding even more stress and anxiety. I would never recommend this company.

Our belongings were held hostage on the truck until we paid in full. Do not do it!
United Trust Van Lines is far from trustworthy. They play all the classic mover company tricks. 1) they will quote a low ball initial price based on a brief estimate of your items 2) then they ask for an initial deposit to lock you in 3) then for me specifically for a 1 bedroom apartment move from Pitt to Cincinnati, I had sent pictures of my items and they quoted a price but did not include the name of the all of the items in the contract and quoted a low storage space of 300cubic feet (which I was not aware at the time what that meant relative to the amount of items I had). In reality for 1 standard 1 bedroom apartment you want around 650-700 cubic feet. 4) movers came. Told me they don?t have enough space for my items only 300cubic feet and then told me - boxes are extra, packing is extra etc 5) I redid the contract to include all items I discussed and the boxes and packing - obviously cost went up 6) charge extra for distance (on day of move), 1$ per foot above 100ft Be wary!
They took a $1400 deposit for my move. Then I waited 2 days for them to show up and they kept lying about coming and never showed up. I requested my deposit back and they refused to pay it. DO NOT give these guys money upfront unless you want to Kiss it Goodby
They took forever to deliver . They lost an entire box of my items. Tried to say they did not but the checklist they sent showed it was never loaded. Said they could not find it in the warehouse. It was a box of shoes that are not being made anymore. They denied my first claim after taking over a month to respond. I submitted a dispute with the photos of the checklist they sent and they only want to give me $27. They donâ t communicate well and the insurance is a joke. Be aware of what youâ re signing and make sure you file for the true value of your items or they will scam you! They try and add charges they out source.
Came a day early for pickup. We were not told before hand that you have to pay in cash or postal checks. It was an ordeal to get them to take a credit card payment which they had taken for deposit. Then we had trouble getting them to tell us when our things would be delivered. When it finally arrived we were missing a queen size mattress and had 3 boxes that werenâ t yours that they refused to come get
This company made moving easy. Every important item was professionally wrapped and packed as if I bought new from a store. These guys were awesome. They deserve a raise. No hidden charges, very affordable price. Would use them soon!
They are always punctual, very professional, friendly, and courteous. They did an excellent job of making sure that all my items were safely and securely packed.
I completely blown away by how great a service was done. I felt it was imperative that I wrote a review to support this company. This is who you want if you desire a stress-free move. We moved this summer, and these movers made the job totally painless. They were very kind and friendly. It was indeed a great move with them. I recommend the movers to all.
They were the nicest, most hardworking, efficient people. They wrapped and padded everything that needed to be wrapped. They also had free wardrobe boxes which other moving companies charge extra for. I will absolutely be using this company again for my next move!
