Hereâ s the headline: â The best home repair service Iâ ve ever experienced.â We had finally decided to tackle a long-time suspected mold problem in our laundry room, with a related ceiling problem in an adjacent room caused by a roof leak. The roof had been repaired, but we hadnâ t addressed the interior damage. Because of the location of the damage in a very small house (1,400 sq feet), I wanted the provider to come in, do the job as fast as possible, and get out -- during the reconstruction we wouldnâ t be able to get into the backyard or the garage from inside the house, and we were restricted to the kitchen, bedrooms and bath. To add to the urgency, I had an unmovable deadline in a few weeks. Kirill, Spaulding Decomâ s general manager, contacted me the day I posted on Angiâ s. He came for a walk through two daysâ later (to meet MY schedule), and had a bid in a week, after his â main guy,â Pedro, who would oversee and do most of the build-back work took a look at the space. I asked them to start by the end of the month and, once they started, not stop until they were done. They tore out all all the dry wall, moved the washer and dryer, carefully reorganized stuff in the garage so they could get at the back laundry room wall IN A DAY. They pointed out a couple of pretty dangerous safety hazards (how the dryer was vented and the wall between laundry room and garage was built). I agreed they should fix them in the â build-back.â The guy who did the chlorine gas treatment showed up the next day at 7:30, and was out by 3 PM -- that was the one day I couldnâ t stay in the house. I canâ t say enough good things about Pedro and his build-back crew. Pedro himself did most of the texturing, painting, trim work. He arrived at 8 AM and mostly didnâ t leave until 6 PM. He worked most of Easter Sunday, and finished the job on the last day with about a 10 hour work day because they were determined to keep their promise to let me leave for a trip the next day. I donâ t think Iâ ve ever seen someone work so hard and do such excellent work. The whole Spaulding crew was outstanding. They showed up on time, were super efficient in their work, the GM (Kirill) checked in regularly to make sure things were going well, and worked with the crews to go the extra mile to get the job done on time without cutting corners.

Kirill and Mike were professional, handled the problem while my wife and I were working from home during shelter in place, and cleaned up the place so well, it was like we had never had an issue in the first place. I would hire them again, and they have my highest recommendation.

The work done was great -- fast, eliminated the mold on our wall, and the team cleaned up well when done. Overall, the process was not overly disruptive to our day (which was much needed since we're working from home). I'd definitely recommend their services.
