J. walked us through the work as it progressed, giving us honest feedback about what he thought should be done. At no point did we feel pressured to pay for extra services or surprise repairs. In fact, we asked J. to repair a crack in the cement near our water heater where water had seeped in the previous winter and to install a pan around it for protection against any overflow. J. included these services (which involved draining and remounting our water heater) at no additional cost: his initial estimate for the work was precisely the same as the amount we paid when the job was done. "They did a number of things. Braced and restrapped water heater and ran copper line for pressure relief to outside. Unclogged master toilet and reseated. Bolted down second toilet. Reconnected clothes dryer vent. Repaired air gap/garbage disposal and drain line under kitchen sink, crawled under house and remove galvanized pipe straps and replaced with nylon pipe clamps. I was a contractor and used to do this work, o an very critical. They did an outstanding job. Went the extra mile several times. I was expecting a bill for a higher amount but they stuck with their estimate. I recommend them highly and would use them again!!"
