The project went very smoothly from beginning to end—Meeting the team who performed the work, to coming up with a design for the kitchen with a specialist, picking out cabinets, island, hardware, countertops and backsplash. I watched the team work uniformly day in and day out, because not only did I have new cabinets installed, but electrical and plumbing done as well(recessed lighting, pendant lights, all new appliances, and a farmhouse sink). Also, they are accommodating if changes need to be done. They believe the customer is number one! I would highly recommend them for any type of remodel— I’m going to use them for a future project. FYI— there price is very fair and reasonable

I found Rattigan and Sons when I did a search on Angi for somebody to tear down the unattractive acoustic tile ceilings in the living room and dining room of my old house, and replace them with beautiful tin ceilings. Unlike so many other contractors that I had tried to reach, Jody, the owner of Rattigan and Sons, responded to my call promptly (which was standout service right there, since so many people I tried never called back) and she had her carpenter Brandon in my home doing an estimate within a week. From the scheduling to the planning and pricing and everything else that goes along with any home improvement project, Jody was professional, thorough, responsive, transparent, listened to my concerns and preferences and made it clear all along that her first priority is for the customer to be happy. And when I met her highly skilled carpenters Brandon and Kermit who came to do the work, I was so impressed - not only their experience and knowledge, but also with their communication and customer service skills which put me totally at ease and gave me complete confidence that they were the right people for the job. They explained everything they were doing, kept me informed as they went along and asked for my feedback, and if they identified a problem along the way they always had a solution to offer. However their abilities to really listen, empathize with my concerns as the homeowner , and make me feel that they cared about my home as much as I do and wanted me to be completely happy, were truly exceptional and can be very hard to find. And I am happy – my ceilings are now so beautiful! Jody, Brandon and Kermit were even willing to make adjustments when some unexpected scheduling changes occurred so that they actually finished the job ahead of schedule, and worked incredibly hard to do so. They clearly enjoy their work and take great pride in producing high quality results. By the time they left my home, they felt like family. I really cannot say enough good things about my experience with Rattigan and Sons and I will definitely be calling them again for future projects. You should too!

We were unhappy with few things and they came out promptly, they're very apologetic and everything was fine now. I've been trying for years to get calls and when I called Angi they responded right away after a few days they came out and the guy did the work. I am happy with the result at the end.

I had them install a bathroom a few months ago and it went well and it looks great. Easy to work with so I called them again for some foundation work and a replacement basement window. Professional, courteous and all around a pleasure to work with again. They got the job done efficiently with a real attention to detail. I recommend their services and would definitely reach out again.

I am very happy with the final result of my home remodel which included completing some cosmetic work in my bathroom that had been started by my husband but never finished, new Pergo floors in my hall and living room, painting in several rooms, gate installation on my front porch, new sliding glass door, new furnace and central air, and my personal favorite, a completely new kitchen. Jody, Sean and several of their employees and subcontractors worked in my home for the better part of a year. In a project of this scope, obviously there were a few issues that arose along the way but all were resolved to my complete satisfaction. When there was an occasional disagreement on an issue, Sean always ended the discussion with “don’t worry about it, I will take care of it. I want you to be happy”, a sign of a contractor willing to work with his customers to come to a fair resolution to any disagreement which to me as a consumer is everything you need to know when you hire someone to work in your home. Sean and Jody have become like family to me and I would recommend them, and I would use them again myself for any home improvement services needed.
