There was no set schedule and no reliable communication about when workers would show up and how long they would stay. The painter she sent first dripped paint on the floor, house siding, rug and all over the sink counter and sink. They left without cleaning it up. The stair tread had to be replaced a second time. I sent photos to the contractor. I don't recommend that people hire this contractor without checking her reviews on Yelp and the BBB.

Response from Company:

Dear [Member Name Removed] as I explained to you that these fellows were new. Its a fifty% chance, when hiring now a days I have had some excellent reviews and some horrible reviews, As of 2019 I have hired an exceptional team of professionals that are prompt and skilled They have all been Cori checked And I have learned from my mistakes as a new business owner and have made some fabulous changes I would love it if we can try again and of course I would offer you a considerable discount for your inconveniences of my past employee neglect and tardiness. My Apologizes Sincerely Jody

An entry way roof leak was repaired and the damaged ceiling and drywall were replaced and finished. The final job looked great inside, but the work was supposed to include extending the edge of the roof to the side where the leak was suspected to be located and filling gaps behind the fascia board. I was charged for the materials and labor for that, but it never happened. Once the ceiling was opened more "needed" repairs to the roof were found and the focus shifted to that once a new work order was created. Before it was completed, I was given excuses for why the repair work would only last a few years at best and that I should have the whole roof redone and should get them to do that work too. But instead of a few years, a few months later I have water in my entry way again and the remodeling work was for nothing as the whole thing will have to be done again.

Response from Company:

[Member Name Removed] As soon as you called me , Christian came back over and he was not allowed to rectify problem, As explained to you well work was being done the repair needed was much more extensive then you agreed to have us do. We were very clear that this was not a complete fix due to the pitch of your roof and the improper construction of thee numerous additions to your home. We came out free of charge and were turned away, also Christian has been in business for numerous years with excellent reference and never one complaint. Things happen sometimes if we hadn't responded then this review would be justified but we did in less then 12 hrs. My Apologies Jody

Horrible!! Case Description: paid for ceiling repair and it was never done. Paid for professional paiters and they did a messy job. Jody promised it would be fixed. Never was. Hired Jody for painting work and a ceiling repair job. I paid for professional painters to paint three rooms and I paid for ceiling repair. The ceiling repair was never done. The painting was not professional. I paid for this work to be done at my parent home. My mother had to leave before the job was done so did a walk through but the painters never cleaned up their sloppy work. Turns out they were fired after the job due to Jody finding out they were only handymen not professional painters (I paid for professional work and did not receive that). They also never even fixed the ceiling which was charged to me for $250. They simply painted over the water marks. My mother is elderly and did not know all of this until after the fact. Jody promised to come back and fix the problems over 5 different dates. She left my mother waiting for workers a few times and then canceled same day via emaiL twice. The work was addimittingly bad and not finished according to Jody (proven in emails). But has never been fixed or refund. Jody sent me an email offering to just settle through payment. I came up with $350 to "call it a day". This is very nice on my end as I paid over $1600 for a professional job and got handymena and they never did the ceiling work At all!! Jody said she found out after they were handymen so why did I paid for professionals?! I hired Jody to handle hiring professionals and she didn’t do it well at all. Jody then asks for my bank account info and said she would pay $350 after the weekend because the banks were closing. I said I'd give her until tues to get the work done or refund me (she said the day before she could have new workers there tues but then emailed the next day saying let's just settle via refund). I told her the refund should be much more but to save the trouble im offering this. THEN She said she actually couldn't pay me back because her son was arrested and his bail cost her everything she had. She then offered to do my Parents floors and take $350 off the cost of that future work. This was not excepted on my end as I would never hire her for anything again. She also still didn't finish her first job so I would not allow her to do the floors. I told her I would take her to small claims court if I had to for the refund and it would be for more money (as I mentioned I paid for professional painters and she sent handymen!). . She finally paid $350 after over 50 emails back and forth and the job never getting finished correctly. A two day painting job turned into a month long ordeal. I forgot to mention the first day of painting she called me asking for more money due to wallpaper still being in the kitchen. I said this is very unexpected as I received a quote NOT an estimate. She was the one who went to my parents house and looked at everything with her workers. What was I paying her for if she doesn’t know what to look for during a quote (especially something so clear as taking down wallpaper!) nor did her employee/ subcontractors. She tried to get more money out of me day one. I had a few people “bid” on the job and she wasn’t the cheapest. I was looking for quality. At the end of everything I got horrible work, service, and overpaid for work by handymen she said were professional painters.

Response from Company:

Please note all my A reviews. I had one bad crew in which I fired.. [Member Name Removed]we tried to fix the mistake but between moms schedule and mine. After I fired my new hired guys. But since we couldn't get back in there I tried to please you by giving reimbursement back you requested. I truly am sorry , but for the most part mom seemed pleased except for some small clean ups and touch ups
